The restaurant has a classic, old-school Wall Street vibe—dark wood, leather seating, and an elegant, timeless feel. Service was quick, professional, and attentive without being overbearing.
Overall, a fantastic dining experience.
Highly recommend Rittenhouse Grill and will definitely be returning on my next visit to Philadelphia!
We started at the bar with pre-dinner cocktails while a pianist played and sang familiar melodies that instantly set a relaxed tone. Christian welcomed us warmly and made an excellent Martini.
When we were seated, Michelle greeted us with a genuine smile. Throughout the evening, she struck the perfect balance — attentive and thoughtful without ever hovering. Her recommendations were spot on, and her professionalism felt natural and sincere.
We began with Clams Casino and Escargots, both wonderfully seasoned, and thoroughly enjoyed them. For our main course, we each ordered the NY Strip, cooked to a perfect medium-rare. It was tender, rich, and buttery, with a true melt-in-your-mouth texture. Classic sides of Au Gratin Potatoes and Creamed Spinach complemented the steak beautifully. We finished with an indulgent Hot Fudge Sundae, a delightful throwback to a classic dessert done right.
Toward the end of the evening, John stopped by our table to check in. He was friendly and knowledgeable, and his suggestion of a Bas-Armagnac and a 20-Year Tawny Port was the ideal way to conclude the meal.
Bottom Line: A refined yet welcoming fine-dining experience with expertly prepared dishes and a staff that genuinely understands hospitality.
Our server was funny, helpful and charming. The live piano music was a delight and the overall atmosphere was very enjoyable!
Our food was perfect! We shared a Filet Mignon and a Caesar Salad, as well as a side of corn “off the cob” and some steak fries.
By the end of our meal, we only had a little room left in our stomachs and thanks to our server, guided to have a delicious ice cream sundae! No regrets!
I would definitely recommend having dinner here! If we have the chance, we are going again!
Food – Zero veggie options on the happy hour menu. Main menu had one vegetarian item on main menu, an appetizer (not vegan).
Service – Felt like we were bothering the waiter. One example is he dropped off my friends drink and left super quick. More of us wanted to order but we didn’t have the opportunity because of how quickly and uninterested he was.
Atmosphere – leopard theme was cool! Definitely upscale feeling, nice feeling for a friends night out or date. We’re in our 30s and definitely the youngest.
