I watched the construction of Habit Grill and was excited to try it once it was opened. I am excited to report that I will be returning! We ordered a veggie burger, the regular char burger and the 50/50 (fries and onion rings). The toppings are customizable and the veggie burger was excellent. The char burger was also good. The fries were pretty salty and standard, but the onion rings were extremely crispy and delicious! Prices were also reasonable and if you join their rewards program, there are frequent specials! We also placed our order during a busy lunch hour and only waited about 10 minutes.

Came in for the first time. Greated by a kiosk to place your order. We placed our order and sat down. Waited about 10 min for our food to come up. Once we had our food, I started with the fries. A little on the salty side, but manageable. Next came the burger, I added bacon to mine. I could taste the flavor, but to be honest, I lost the burger in all the toppings that come on the burger. If you are going to put all that comes on the burger, make the patty bigger. As someone that has their own burger business, the meat, to topping, to bun ratio is way off for a single. Other than that, it was an okay first experience.

After a long morning of cleaning gutters, my family and I decided to treat ourselves to lunch at The Habit Burger Grill in Fredericksburg, and we were so glad we did! Everything was fantastic.
The onion rings are, without a doubt, the best I’ve had in all of Virginia. They were perfectly crispy and seasoned. The fries were also incredible and the soda was crisp and refreshing. The star of the show was the burger—perfectly cooked with a great selection of special sauces to choose from. For those who like a little heat, they even have a pepper bar.
This place is a must-try. We’ll be back very soon and often!

Gave Habit a try because I was on this side of town. Busy amount of foot traffic, customers of all ages. Decent burger for a fair price. Glad to see customer can get half fries/half onion rings.

I ordered the double char burger with bacon no mayo as well as a single char burger. With fries and a drinks.
The fries were fine. The burger was hard to get a drip around so it is big. All the portions of toppings seem to match each other, including the onions. The downside in my opinion was the pattys, the internal temperature of beef is 165. At that point for as thin as the patty’s are I don’t understand why it’s still pink on the inside! That’s the deal breaker for me.

Not typically a person to die on a hill over a delivery, but this was terrible. I ordered a santa salad (no bacon, no avocado, no bagel seasoning and with their typical grilled chicken). I’m gf and allergic to avocado. They gave me a salad with FRIED chicken, avocado, and bagel seasoning. It’s 7:40 pm and I waited over an hour for this and I have a four month old baby. Really disappointed with an order I made via uber.

Walked into Habit Burger and Grill when it was pretty busy, but the service was surprisingly fast and efficient. The burgers were really good—juicy and flavorful, though a bit on the salty side. I’d definitely recommend the onion rings over the fries; they were crispy and had great flavor. I finished the meal with a Hershey’s chocolate shake, which was rich, creamy, and the perfect way to top everything off. Great spot for a quick, satisfying bite!

This was my first visit to Habit and it won’t be my last. Unlike people below how don’t realize red meat should be a little pink inside I do know it should be. It was delicious! Grilled to perfection and not killed a second time. Also the onion rings, green beans, and fries are really good as well!!

Editing the review. Early on i gave them the benefit of the doubt on their speed because they had just opened. But ive never once had my order ready on timeor even remotely close to being on time… today it was ready 14 mins late. The food has always been good (although a bit salty and I wish they had cheese options other than just american) but the speed knocks them down to at least a 3.
