I hosted a Surprise birthday party and Cafe Sabore catered it. I worked with Armando who delivered the platters (on his day off). The food was delicious, I highly recommend Cafe Sabore and look forward to being there again soon.

Our whole family loves to eat at Cafe Sabor. We all crave their endless chips and salsa and the value for eating out with a family can’t be beat. We love the sweet pork burritos, shrimp enchiladas, and the chicken molé, though I haven’t had anything I didn’t like there. The service is top notch, even on busy nights. I am always impressed how the whole staff work together to make sure drinks are filled, food comes out hot, and every need is met. We even had the manager stop by to check on us when our server was helping another table. You can’t beat that service. Get the fried ice cream for dessert!

This is really a great resteraunt and we really enjoyed it. It is excellent food and is prepared quickly and fresh. Lots of different “Mexican style” food here and there and it is either good, or not so much, and this was good, but had enough innovation in it’s delivery and presentation to be great. Prices are about what you would expect. We thought very affordable (plenty of food).
Then there is the service. I wish we could could get back to normalizing great service again. Our server was attentive (not over bearing), had great suggestions and kept us updated on food readiness, did things without having to ask, and always had a genuine smile. Chrishell and Armando were their names and they are great, especially Chrishell! We really enjoyed this resteraunt and recommend it. Also… two times we’ve visited they are really not busy which did surprise us.

We were pleasantly surprised with the food. Expected regular Mexican food but it was very different from the other Mexican places! We were very happy to see a lot of vegetarian options!

2 chicken Al pastor tacos with beans and rice with a corona with lime the tacos were served HOT and I can’t thank them enough for actually serving me food that was still HOT.
The flavor of tacos was insanely good not dry what so ever. Had a sweetness to them from the pineapple which paired well with the onion and cilantro. You guys nailed it.

Waited almost an hour. In that time people who came in after us received their food. We got up decided to leave. We were going to pay for drinks. Waitress said we were not obligated. Went next door to Edwards theater. While in line manager came over said food was ready. At that time it was over an hour from the time we sat down until the time we waited in line. We told manager we weren’t coming back. He said if we would come next week he would take care of us personally. He didn’t the following week. He told us last week the last time in they were short handed in kitchen. The following week as he saw us come in he told us he should charge us for the previous week that we weren’t served plus that evenings meal. We payed for meal we ate plus tip. We were humiliated. We will never come in Cafe SABOR ever again. If anyone asks I’ll tell them about the terrible experience we had. We’ve been a patron for over 5 years.

Great food. My husband and I visit regularly for lunch and I have never ordered anything I didn’t like. The service is always great. My favorite dish is the Sweet Pork Quesadilla. They have a great non-alcoholic drink menu. There is plenty of seating, so I’ve never had to wait for a table.

Went out with the family for lunch at the Café Sabor here in Idaho Falls. The food was really hot and fresh! Flavors were great! Service was friendly and thoughtful, and the ambient was very warm and peaceful.

We have been dining at Cafe Sabor almost every Friday night for the past 10 years. We have always had great service, awesome food, and a wonderful atmosphere. Chrishel does a great job managing the crew. Jayden is our favorite waiter.
