My Fiancé and I were in the area and we were craving some asian food. We decided to stop by. As soon as we entered we were greeted with a warm welcome by the owner herself. The atmosphere when we entered felt nice and warm. My fiancé had some fresh Vietnamese spring rolls and they were amazing and the peanut sauce was omg. He also had the bird nest. Not only it look cute but very delicious. I had The almond chicken lunch special, it was fabulous im always down to try something new and they nailed every dish. The Hot and sour soup was amazing The best ive ever had. I would definitely be back again and bring my whole family.

The owner is awesome! She’s friendly, professional, caring & attentive! They treat you like your family!! The food was good, hot and fresh. I order the Kung Pao combo, and my bf had the Chefs special: wings and shrimp fried rice. It was delicious and we left FULL! Our server, don’t remember her name was awesome as well. They both interacted with my kid making him laugh and they were the highlight of our day!

I was the 2nd customer of this New Year! Let me begin by saying I have found another absolute gem! If you stumble across this restaurant take it as a privilege to eat here! I believe it’s easy to overlook this establishment based on its exterior if you’re trying to find somewhere to eat on the fly, BUT do not overlook this restaurant! EAT HERE! There is a team of people waiting to greet you when you come inside to dine. This place is very welcoming, very passionate, and honorable in their service! With that said there are PLENTY of things to choose from when it comes to the food! HOLY OPTIONS!!! Now it may look very overwhelming but I believe with all the options to select from, there are more than enough dishes for ANYONE to eat no matter how you want to choose. Yes I played it safe as my first time eating here but WOW!! This food was spectacular as well as the service (: It was hot throughout my whole time eating, I typically eat pretty quick but to compensate for the heat I did slow down which allowed me to honestly savor my meal and really enjoy what was put together in the kitchen. Awesome job. Furthermore I would like to compliment the authenticity of the restaurant, it feels very homey and gives me a sense of comfortability which puts that little cherry on top of why you should eat here!! I love the food, I love the service, and I love atmosphere. I would love to see y’all expand in the Cinco Ranch/Fulshear area!! This is a true Taste of China in Texas, thank you for having me! (:

I ordered DoorDash from here and this was the 1st time I tried them out. The egg tolls had a funny taste.. someone else in the comments said too much ginger so maybe that’s it. Idk but i don’t think I ever had bad tasting egg rolls before. I also had the general tso shrimp. Not good either. Did they just fry the shrimp and then throw it in sauce? I could have did wok n roll on fm 1960. Waaay better than this place. Tasted cheap and old. Never again.

The ambiance of this restaurant was very enjoyable. While the food was decent, the service could have been better and felt a bit lacking at times. Overall, it was still a nice experience, but there’s room for improvement, especially on the service side.

Taste of China has been a family favorite for 8 years. When people come in to town we order from here. We need an easy dinner, we order from here. My wife wanted a buffet style Chinese dinner for her birthday party, we ordered from here.
Taste of China really went above and beyond like they always try to do. They helped navigate the best way to do it and the order was ready for pick up on time. Everyone loved it! Including the hot and spicy beef you suggested. It was delicious!
Thank you very much for helping me make my wife’s birthday extra special!

I have been ordering from this place for years and today will be my last time. My extended family came in for the new year so I decided to place a large order, and to my surprise, I found a bloody bandaid in my house special lo mein. Of course they won’t comp the meal, but asked if I wanted another dish. Absolutely not. I will never go back. You just lost my business.

If I could give more stars I would! ⭐️ before I write my spiel, EVERYTHING we ordered was delicious. We had Beef Chow Fun, General Tso’s chicken, and the House fried rice. My biggest gripe when it comes to Chinese takeout-is that the chicken is usually extremely stringy and dry. This place literally could not have made the chicken more tender and delicious. Chefs kiss!
My husband and I just moved to the area and we were both craving Chinese food. We saw the reviews at this restaurant and are SO glad we found this place. This will hands down be the only place we will order Chinese from now on. The service was absolutely amazing. The owner made us feel like family. Next time we plan to enjoy dining inside the restaurant, instead of ordering takeout.
Thank you so much for the hospitality, and delicious food. We look forward to many more visits in the future.

If you’re on a budget, the house style chow fun is perfect as a one dish or as a compliment, it’s a must order.
The egg fried rice is also pretty good for a standalone option, the price at $9 is phenomenal for the quality and amount you get.
House style chow fun: flat noodle with excellent texture and taste.
Egg Fried rice: a phenomenal fried rice (not too greasy) with excellence egg (the perfect scramblish egg that you want).
Kung pao: Good kung pao, nothing amazing.
White rice: average rice cooker rice. Exactly what you want.
Their vegetables are crunchy and crisp.
Almond cookie good
Chili oil: has good heat and is more garlickly
