Gentleman named Nick at the cash register is super nice. I ordered two-item combo dinners with fish and wings, the other is shrimps and perch. Thank you for good food and great customer service. The lemon pepper is brilliant spice seasoning to go with the order. 5-star on everything for me

This location replaces a taco place inside of a corner gas station. When we stopped in we weren’t expecting much, maybe some greasy over-battered fish and French fries. We were wrong.
This is a higher end seafood place disguised as greasy spoon gas station food. They were working hard for our business, too. They threw in free chicken wings and an extra piece of perch to show off what they had.
Catfish, wings, perch, even their fries are good. The mother-in-law thought the shrimp was undercooked, but she’s used to the rubbery overcooked stuff at a fast food joint. I tried one and it was perfect.
Everything gets coated with their lemon pepper seasoning, and I’m not mad about it. Variety would be nice, though.
Prices aren’t bad for what you get, and everyone there was friendly and hustling for us. I’m looking forward to returning. Often.

One of the better places to get fried chicken around the area. The chicken was juicy, and flavorful. The lemon pepper was a nice touch. The owner here cares alot about his customers, and puts alot of effort to the quality of his food to make it top notch. Would highly recommend to stop by if you need a chicken fix

This place is one of my favorite places to go to in des plaines and I am a food critic. They are very nice in there every time I go, they always are not stingy with their portions at all & they make sure you are definitely full with the amount I’m always getting. Every single thing here has been amazing including the desserts they have I have yet to try a lot of things but I’ve had the chicken, chicken gizzards, mushrooms, okra, catfish, and the strawberry dessert. Every single thing was delicious and cooked to perfection. Definitely go here because it’s actually worth it.

I had seen this store but never stopped in because I thought it was more like gas station food. I love good fried chicken and get a taste for it every now and then. So I headed over to give their fried chicken a try. I also had a piece of fried catfish.
Amazing! It is not gas station food. It is prepared as you order it and is wonderfully tasteful. It’s by far much better than other large chain fried chicken places. It will be my go-to place to fix my fried chicken hankerings from now on.

Found out there was a Shark’s nearby and had to order after not having it for years. Ordered the 10 piece chicken mix for a total of $16.00 and it was so good, my family had finished it and put in another order the same day. Always made to order. Christmas Eve we didn’t have any more time to cook chicken to pair with our other dishes, and Shark’s came in the clutch again. Please, whatever you guys do, try not to raise the price on the chicken mix as it is the most convincing reason for us to keep choosing Shark’s over competitors like Popeyes, Browns, and KFC. We’ve ordered the same thing here about 6 times in the last month. This place is great and we haven’t even ordered the seafood!

Good hot food served hot, seasoned and fresh. Cute takeout lunch boxes. Clean establishment, inside Mobile gas station, near the airport for a fish & chicken fix. Customer service was accommodating however, when a customer comes in and you’re on a personal call, you might wanna get off to take care of them. Thanks!

Months ago, I came across a post on Chicagofood on Reddit raving about this place. Yesterday I finally decided to go. Absolutely top notch, fantastic fried chicken, and the Catfish fillets were excellent.
The food is fried to order, so you’re gonna have to wait for a little bit. But it is worth it. It’s connected to a gas station, so you can grab soda or slurpees or whatever you wish. They did have some interesting looking lemonade as well. The lemon pepper seasoning is a must and is available for sale if you wish. I took home a bottle. It’s spice crack.
You will not be disappointed.

Did is one of the best Sharks locations that I’ve been to. The food is ALWAYS hot and DELICIOUS. The prices are reasonable and the customer service is top tier!!! Don’t hesitate to give them a try!!!
