Went back the last time we were at Beech Mtn, and again, the food was amazing. The Pho was soooo good and, of course, the best ginger dressing I have ever had. We got sushi again and again, amazing.
No change. The food is still amazing. We had the Pho and steak, chicken, and shrimp hibachi.
I ordered the following:
1. Vietnamese traditional seafood sweet and sour tamarind soup served as hot pot style (lầu canh chua hải sản). The soup flavoring has a balance savory, sweet, sour flavor with the aromatic rice paddy herb, with pineapple, tomatoes, onions, swai, shrimp, thick tender calamari rings, and thin sliced beef which kinda threw me off a bit. But it was all delicious. I highly recommend this to my Vietnamese foodies visiting this restaurant.
2. Bún tôm thịt nướng / Charbroiled grilled sliced pork and shrimp served with thin vermicelli rice noodles, shredded lettuces and carrots, drizzled with a sweet and sour fish sauce was well liked my group. I recommend this dish as well.
3. Stir fry spicy lemongrass chicken with vegetables served with steamed rice was liked by the American guy that came with the group.
4. Charbroiled grilled pork chop with steamed rice, pickled carrots and daikons, fresh cucumbers and lettuce with sweet and sour fish sauce – that I do NOT recommend this if you prefer moist juicy tender flavorful lemongrass porkchops like I do. This place makes their porkchop so dry, lean, and very bland.
5. Ginger tea was warm and satisfying to the chilly weather.
6. Boba milk tea was liked by my daughter and me.
Parking 10/10 Noise 6/10 food 5/10.
Service was good. Food was good. Loved the price! Okay portion.
The pho was great! Better with the chili oil. Spring was okay.
The sushi maki/rolls came out tiny but perfect for the price and the taste of the 4 different rolls we received was surprisingly amazing.
Kids tilapia panko was also phenomenal. The clear soup was perfect. The fish perfect. The fried rice, perfect. The carrots were incredible and homemade.
The pad Thai was spot on.
When you received a shrimp dish the shrimp were good sized and came tender and flavorful just like in Thailand.
The Vietnamese dishes were heavenly. Perfectly cooked vermicelli. Salad with the freshest ingredients and basil. Fish sauce was also done just right. The meats perfectly barbecued and so flavorful and tender. Boba teas were very good. Try the Thai Boba but know it will be super sweet.
I would move here just for this restaurant.
Now service comes with a culture and language divide. For example they list a meat patty on the Vietnamese dishes which turned out to be I think pork satay on a stick which was homemade and incredible. The ambiance just does not do the food justice, so don’t judge this book by its cover.
The menu had so many great choices but we could not get them all. The Thai salads looked so good. I wanted to try their Singapore noodles. In fact I wanted to try so much but We just could not eat that much.
If you are looking for an amazing meal, do not miss this restaurant.
