My favorite restaurant find in the last five years in kc. Great food, fast service. Home cooked feeling. Music in the background. The restaurant is hustling and bustling. Absolutely great food. I’ve never had el salvadorean tamales before and they were buttery soft. The banana leaf wrap and soft as air mask was everything.

I opted for a simple fried chicken and rice plate. Cooked perfectly and cheap! The drinks were also so great. I had gotten the Tamarind aqua Fresca. After lunch I whent home and bought some tequila so I can mix it with it.
Right now I’ve been there twice in two weeks and tomorrow will be three weeks in a row. I recommended this place to a big youtuber that was in town for a pokemon card con. He said he enjoyed restaurants from south of the border. Pokebeard, I hope you got to try it!!

The plantains weren’t fresh but the chicken and the sauce was great! the maduros were terrible!!! ruined the meal. also they wouldn’t give me half an order for half the price. that’s a stupid rule. because of that useless rule i will never return again. don’t recommend.

I place an order for pick up over the phone. The gentleman was polite spoke clear repeated my order back to me. Let me know it will be ready in 12 minutes. I got to the establishment went trough the back door. It was clean the First Lady that seen me welcome me and I walk towards the register the Second Lady ask if I need a table or was I a to go. I let her and the cashier know it was a to go. I look around the place was clean people look happy. Quick and polite. The food was delicious super satisfied with my purchase the price was reasonable. I ordered 6 pupusas 3 empanadas 1 glass coke & 2 paletas. 45$. I would recommend.

My wife and I love food from Central America, but finding good CA fare in KC isn’t easy. Finding this place which serves up food from El Salvador, was a real delight this past evening. I got the #2 breakfast for dinner and loved it. My wife got the pupusas and was quite pleased. The michelada was a nice drink and our server was really on top of things. Looking forward to our next visit!

I completely recommend this place, it’s famous for its pupusas. I like the beans and cheese and cheese with loroco, those are my favorites. The rest of the menu is really good too. Gris was our server, she greeted us the moment we can in, she was super nice and polite! Great Service and Food!!!

If you’re looking for authentic Salvadoran food, then this is the spot. Their pupusas? Best in town; hands down. My pen pal from Norway visited recently & before heading back home, she asked to come here again because she knew she wouldn’t find anything like this back there. Which says a lot. Personally, I’m just grateful this place exists & that it’s genuinely good. I was a little worried since it’s one of the only Salvadoran restaurants in the area, but it did not disappoint. The service is always friendly & the inside feels very Salvi which reminds me of one of my favorite spots back in L.A. If you love pupusas (or you’ve never tried them) then this place is a must!

Delicious authentic El Salvadorian food. Quick service. Best papusas in town. The tamales were excellent also. The platanos were a little greasy and mushy but tasted great.

Sad to say that it is not a place I would go back to. First the girl that took our order was very rude, unprofessional. Second as we were waiting for our order one of the other girls dropped lids from the little plastic containers that are for salsa, she picked them up and put them back with the rest. Lastly the food had no flavor, the empanadas with bean were not cooked all the way and the amount of cabbage was so small for an order of pollo con tajadas. On the picture you can see I put two containers to have an ok amount.
