Had an awful experience.
First time customer, my wife had an appointment next door and I had our 1 year old figured we’d try it out love to support local businesses.
Online I had seen there is a slice and soda for about $6/$7.
I came in there was 0 hospitality, the lady looked at me like she was annoyed I even dared to walk in. We go back and forth on my order because according to her if my one slice of pepperoni and a drink could come to $7 and change which means I could not pay with card only cash and again I’m holding my kid so I am not running back out to the car. So she goes do 2 slices and a drink I ask what the price difference is points to their written board couldn’t be bothered to answer.
Ok so $10 for the order I think not what I wanted but I have time to kill fine.
Truthfully there is a sign for $5 min purchase on a card I could have argued but I was already unhappy and just wanted the interaction to be over.
My “order” looks like yesterday’s cooked pizza sitting under an old warming light gets reheated I regret the price I paid when I see the per slice pizza. She goes here or to go. My “to go” order was a mess by the time I got the car. Would never recommend or return.
If my cashier is ownership you have lost your passion and drive for this. That’s reflective in every recent review.

Blaque “Lets talk about it” Loyalty
Let’s start off with the service , it’s most important to me. There was a beautiful blonde. Leaning tables when we 1st walked in. She didn’t greet until I spoke, I already knew what I wanted because I seen sold by the slice on the window. Got myself a happy 2 slices that took 10 mins to warm up. Served still dry when I returned, but hey I wasn’t there for her I was there for the pizza. When tapping in to the pizza that’s when the real disappointment hit. The service and the pizza were 2 of a kind. The pizza was as thin as a piece of paper . It was ok in the flavor department. Won’t be returning. Happy I grabbed chicken strips from Publix

You need not look anywhere else for the best pizza pasta and sandwiches New York style. excellent hand tossed dough with the perfect sauce and cheese. Homemade New York cheese cake available and assorted beverages, including beer. Always clean and great service. Highly recommended business!!

I asked for a breakdown of my receipt because I thought the total for the lunch combo was a little high. You’d think the rude woman at the front thought I was accusing her of theft.
I told her I thought $4.12 for a takeout fountain drink (mostly ice) and $1.50 for a 2 tablespoons of ranch seemed excessive and that East Coast Pizza up the road was offering the same special for $3 less. She told me to, “take my money to East Coast then.” Okay, I guess. Better pizza for less, and only an 8 minute drive. Pizza was average, more grease than I’d prefer.

C) Act like she wants to be there working.

The pizza is good, but I hate having to go inside to pick up the pizza bc I feel like such a bother. Unfortunately, I see many also have had to same experience.

Just moved from New York to Apollo beach. And as a family that loves pizza. I had to bring my kids to the local. This place is NOT A KID FRIENDLY PLACE DO NOT COME HERE WITH YOUR KIDS.
the lady at the counter was so rude and demanding my kids to sit still. Is not like they were running out of control! They were just being kids that are very excited and hungry for pizza. The first time she demanded the kids to sit I let it slide but she was just hawking them and demanding they do not move or play. It was crazy since we were the only customer there. We just left and head to apollo pizza instead! Way better service and better pizza

Official one slice challenge score 6.4 let’s start off with the bad and end with the good, women at the front was definitely not a people kind of person. I had the feeling I was bothering her. Either way let’s get to the pizza, really no taste to the cheese that set it apart from all the other places I have ate at. Their was barely any sauce on the pizza to really give it that zing that I believe all great pizza have. Now the good. In my observation the Crust was cooked perfectly adding a nice soft crunch to a slight flop of the slice just the way I like crust to be. Not from the area only visiting. In all my years of trying mom and pop pizza they could definitely do better. Service wise and taste wise.

I also thought the lady at the counter was rude. She made me feel like I was bothering her. I said maybe she’s having a bad day, but based on the comments, it seems EVERY day is bad. I hope the owner sees these comments & makes the necessary changes. I ordered two chicken Parm sandwiches. They were dry.

The quality of this pizza has completely gone down. I used to love it, and for the past few weeks that I have had pizza from there, it’s soggy and does not taste good at all. The fountain soda also tastes terrible. The woman at the front always seems to be in a bad mood as well. Would not recommend it!
