What to say about this lovely place….

I discovered my gluten and dairy issues in June 2025. Living 35 years eating nothing but gluten and dairy, it’s been difficult finding places to grab a bite without getting sick. And cooking all the time has been difficult with everything going on.

I work in Roseville, and discovered Pushkins on a lunch break once, and my entire world changed.

This place has never let me down. The employees are wonderful and kind. The food is delicious and filling. The prices are actually very decent for what you order. 10/10 always.

Will be taking my mom and sister to visit pushkins when they come for the holidays.

Thank you Pushkins for always taking care of me.

I’ve attached some photos of all the delicious goodies I have gotten, and will continue to order.

I was beyond delighted with my fried mushroom sandwich. It’s been years since I’ve had a sandwich that didn’t leave me disappointed from the size and/or the taste/texture of the bread. These sandwiches are a normal size, they are filled with all kinds of good stuff, the bread actually stayed together the entire time, and it tasted great. I wish I didn’t live hundreds of miles away.

I was so excited to finally give this location a try after Siblings (their affiliated restaurant) closed down. The fried chicken sandwich was delicious! The bun was soft and warm, the fries were crisp and best of all, I didn’t have to worry about my items being gluten-free! I can’t wait to try all of the delicious bakery items as well!

I was happy to finally try this spot when a friend asked me to meet for lunch. I love quiche but it is one of those dishes I just never get right so when my friend told me the quiche here is good I happily ordered the meat quiche. Presentation was great, the eggs were fluffy…..but it had ZERO flavor. The only bites with flavor were the ones with the tomatoes. The quiche is advertised as having Gruyere cheese but I wonder if they forgot to include that ingredient? The side salad was fine (the dressing was the highlight of the meal). I also wasn’t impressed with my apple fritter. Not sure if I’ll come back to try a sandwich or full salad.

I really hate making negative reviews. I was looking forward to getting my sandwich. I paid $16 for the smallest sandwich I have ever had in my entire life. The fact that it did not taste good makes it worst. I had finished up my errands and this was my last stop. I went home and ate it and immediately went to my kitchen to make myself something else to eat, because I was still hungry. This was not even a simple snack. I hate wasting my money. Very frustrating. Please don’t respond with some silly response or ask me to contact you. I will never return to any of these establishments again.

I loved the atmosphere and the staff were all amazing, the food however not so great, we were so bummed they DO NOT offer Blue Cheese Dressing!!! And No Chickpeas either, so odd. Unfortunately the chicken was very dry and we both ended up not feeling well afterwards.

If you’re anywhere near Roseville and craving something sweet without the gluten or dairy, Pushkin’s is an absolute must-visit. This bakery has mastered the art of creating treats that taste so good, you’d never guess they’re allergen-friendly. Every visit greets you with that warm, comforting bakery aroma that instantly pulls you in.

The real stars of the show are their chocolate sprinkle donuts, available every Tuesday and Thursday. These donuts are absolutely amazing—soft, rich, perfectly sweet, and hands-down my favorite treat they offer. The chocolate flavor is smooth and indulgent, the texture is spot-on, and the colorful sprinkles give them that nostalgic bakery magic.

If you haven’t had one yet, I highly encourage you to get in there and try it. Pushkin’s proves that gluten-free and dairy-free can still mean delicious, and their chocolate sprinkle donuts are all the proof you need.

I searched high and low for a baker who can make a small eggless smash cake for my baby’s 1st birthday and i’m so glad i found this place.
Their website has all the info you need, communication was excellent and the price was very reasonable. The cake was not as moist as a regular cake with eggs but the flavor was delicious and my baby loved it. I highly recommend this place.

Pushkin’s Bakery & Cafe: A Gluten-Free Haven in Roseville :
As someone who’s gluten-sensitive, I’ve tried a lot of places to find great meals that fit my diet. I’m really excited to tell you about Pushkin’s Gluten-Free Bakery & Cafe in Roseville. This place is a real standout for anyone who needs to avoid gluten.

Walking into Pushkin’s, you can forget about the hassle of finding gluten-free options. Everything here is safe to eat, which is awesome. And for someone like me, who also can’t have milk, tomatoes, and corn, it feels like a safe haven. They even have great vegan choices, and the minimal use of corn by-products is a thoughtful consideration that does not go unnoticed. And with the detailed menu, I can easily steer clear of the tomato.

Now, let’s talk about their desserts – they’re amazing! They have everything from delicious berry cobbler to awesome chocolate cupcakes (I can’t remember the exact name, but they taste incredible). There’s also brownies, cookies, scones, banana bread, zucchini bread, morning bun, cinnamon buns – you name it. It’s hard to pick just one thing, and I usually end up taking a bunch home. No self control when I walk into Pushkin’s

Their savory food is just as good. I love their waffles and berries, and I love their chicken tenders with fries, and so does my partner, who doesn’t have any food allergies. That shows how good their food is for everyone.

While my experience at the Pushkin’s in downtown Sacramento was less than stellar. The Roseville cafe reminds me of the great gluten-free food I had in Vienna, Austria. I think they should add a gluten-free strudel to their menu – that would be cool.

I also have to mention how great the service is at Pushkin’s. The staff are super friendly and fast, even when it’s busy. I was impressed by how quickly I could get my food and get back home, even though I live a bit far away.

In short, Pushkin’s Gluten-Free Bakery & Cafe in Roseville is a fantastic place for anyone, whether you need gluten-free food or just love good eats. It’s perfect for any meal or order for a special occasion. I’m really hoping they open another one in Folsom soon!

To sum it up, Pushkin’s isn’t just a bakery and cafe. It’s a place where great taste, inclusivity, and awesome cooking come together. Definitely worth checking out, no matter what your diet is.

The day before Valentines Day, I decided to treat my family with a bunch of goodies. I spent about $50+ on cupcakes, brownies, lemon cakes, chocolate covered strawberries, cinnamon rolls etc. The service and atmosphere were great, but the food was terrible! The vanilla cupcakes tasted like cornbread, and the chocolate cupcakes stuck to the wrapper and the icing tasted like shortening. My sugar loving 3 year old called the cupcakes yucky and refused to eat them. Normally sweets go quickly in my home, but these just sat on the counter. I was very disappointed with the quality. I do not recommend the baked goods here.
