Usually the food is great. This time, the japchae had an overwhelming amount of black pepper on it, the strawberry cake was just strawberry shortcake which I didn’t know, and don’t like. The bean sprouts were super tasty. I ate all of those, all of the fish cake and a good bit of the rice. I didn’t eat all of the cake, chicken, or japchae and threw it all away. The japchae is usually sweet. The chicken didn’t taste fresh at all.
This time, I don’t know what happened but the food was terrible and it’s usually very tasty. 40 bucks wasted

My first visit here, January of 2025, 8pm dinner with a friend. Food was great, I really felt I was in a Korean drama. Service was top notch, buffet was closed so we had a menu combo. For the price you pay, a good portion of food is provided. Our server placed the meat on the grill, buddy and I just flipped it to our cooked liking. I’m not sure how to judge a Korean restaurant by American standards, but by Korean standards, great food, great service, tables are a bit small making the dinning of two cramped, but manageable. If you enjoy or want to try eating Korean style, this is the place. But bring some funds and be ready to spend!

I would give 0 star if I could. How dare you charge 18% mandatory gratuity by offering the WORST SERVICE: 1. The waitress slipped and spilled some boiling soup onto the table; 2. Gave me receipt of table 6 while I’m in table 7; 3. Kept ignoring my calling with the red button when I wanted to communicate about the wrong receipt; 4. Kept ignoring me when I went to the front desk trying to talk about the wrong receipt; 5. Finally gave me the correct receipt without apologize; 6. I went to the front desk again to argue the gratuity on the receipt, and of course, waiting for a long time to get someone; 7. Finally got apologize this time, but was told the 18% gratuity was mandatory; 8. My friend packed her food and you didn’t even give her a plastic bag? I definitely will never enter this restaurant again, and will tell everyone I know about my awful experience today. Don’t recommend this place if you expect any service.

Great value if you do it right, the only real KBBQ place in town. D92 recently updated/expanded their menu, but the only way to go is the regular All You Can Eat menu. Don’t miss the beef bulgogi, marinated pork neck, and gochujang pork. Share a bottle of soju and take a generous sip at the start of each meat course. Make sure to ask for the spicy rice cakes! Order until you can order no more!

We have eaten at this establishment NUMEROUS times in the past two years! At least 15-20 times and have met the owner a couple times as well. We have experienced some small problems here and there before, but nothing like today! Our grill kept going out at the table that they set us at and they kept having to move our food around to reignite. Finally we got the first meat finished, but once they started cooking the second one, it went out two more times. We finally said, we are tired of this and would just like the bill as we had another appointment we had to make it too. (Pay for what we have eaten/received) After eating only one meat and being there less than 30 minutes (mostly waiting for the food to get done), they charged us full price and gratuity! $90+ dollars!! We said the service was poor and not because of us, but because of their grill. Instead they just said sorry, but you still have to pay the full price for everything as you sat down at the table! No discount or nothing..Will never go back again and definitely won’t recommend anyone to them as it’s just about the money for the owners and not the experience!

My daughter and I eat here about once a month. Great food. Great service. Fair price. Easy to park and never a wait to get in. The restaurant and bathrooms are always clean. It is the best Korean BBQ around Athens.

First they charge you per drink for every drink except water. $2.50 per soft drink. The food was mediocre with not hardly any flavoring. The all you can eat menu has no beef unless you pay a higher price. They also automatically add the tip to every check no matter how many people are in your party. Definitely won’t be back! Iron Age in Buford is the Best!

PLEASE READ OTHER HONEST REVIEWS! (FILTER LOWEST IN REVIEWS TO SEE RECENT COMMENTS). DO NOT GO! SCAM GUARANTEED!

Do not go unless you’re comfortable paying a waitress’s paycheck regardless of service and for cold food!

Our witress was very inattentive and we still had to pay her “gratuity” for work that she DID NOT do, which was $12 per person, because they “could not remove the fee”. The food we received was cold, even the rice! She neglected to put in the orders or even write them down. I spent the entire meal eating banchan and my kids an appetizer! We arrived nearly an hour after opening and there we no more than 2 other tables seated before we got there.

They tried to overcharge my sister for a drink which was another issue as they decided to add specifications that she did not request. The menu and prices are misleading as there are more restrictions than that of which are mentioned.

Thank goodness for the other lady available as she comped 1x of the meals that we didn’t receive. The guy clearing the tables was also incredibly helpful. Unfortunately, these two aren’t the ones that receive the tip even though they deserve it. Ultimately, just steer clear, especially when “gratuity” is included as this waitress showed that it doesn’t matter how she treats patrons since she is still getting paid.

Feels like a bit of a scam. People sitting at our table that never touched the all you can eat were charged $35 PLUS mandatory gratuity just for being at the table. “Seasonal vegetables” were just bean sprouts, pickled radishes, lettuce, and ginger. We specifically asked about other vegetables and were told that was it, no other options, but later saw an entire try of zucchini, onion, etc headed to another table? And I understand an all you can eat not allowing you to box leftovers, however here? You can’t take anything home, but you’ll also be charged if you leave too much behind. No real selection of sauces, condiments, or seasoning. Grill wouldn’t stay lit. Just generally felt like an overpriced bowl of rice and some meat. Brought our table of 5 a plate of 6 shrimp and a couple small cuts of chicken to start with. Enough to feed about 2 people, but they wouldn’t bring anything else until we ate that first? I’ve been to way better Korean bbq places that weren’t gouging customers and seemed to be doing fine, so the business model seems flawed. I could overlook it if the food they offered felt like a complete meal, but lettuce and sprouts makes “seasonal vegetables” feel like false advertising at best. Just be sure you know what you’re in for before you and your party sit down and get charged for things you don’t even eat and didn’t order. I don’t understand how they get away with this. Just because “it’s posted” doesn’t mean it’s right. And if you’re going to utilize a business practice that deviates significantly from most other restaurants, you should make sure your servers verbally review these policies with customers BEFORE they order.

Food wonderful, service in point, atmosphere comfortable. Prices are high but I can be okay with that because the quality is so good. What I don’t like is the none negotiable gratuity. There has been times I’ve been here and the service has not been worth the 18% gratuity. Tonight she was worth it. But I do like to tip based on their service. That’s my only gripe. I’ll be back. The quality is good.
