Greeted with smiles at the door! Promptly seated and initial order for drinks and appetizer taken. Served quickly and correctly! Owner stopped by to introduce himself and welcomed us warmly. Our server Ciela, took our dinner orders and got things rolling. Dinner rolls are great! Steaks cooked perfectly and excellent cuts. Finished up dinner and went over to the sports bar side. What a crowd! All smiles again! Sandy took our drink order and got to know us. Fantastic place! Get yourself a t-shirt while you’re there! Plenty of parking and easy walk from several hotels. Enjoy yourselves!

We’ve stopped at 287 Roadhouse several times while traveling from Galveston TX to Arvada, Colorado, and it’s become a place we genuinely look forward to visiting. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed, the food has been consistently great, and the prices are very reasonable. Service has always been excellent, but this visit really stood out. Our server Andrea was fantastic—very personable, friendly, and attentive, always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. Derek, the manager, was also extremely pleasant and made us feel right at home. It’s places like this that turn a road trip stop into a highlight. We’ll definitely be back again.

Staff was friendly and great. The sampler platter appetizer was good loved the fried mushrooms and pickles, they were a little over salty. However was not impressed with the main dishes. The “jumbo” shrimp were not even considered medium. The steaks were so chewy we almost couldn’t cut them with the steak knives.

Ok if you don’t get anything else you need to get the stuffed jalapeño poppers!! Then everything else after that is delicious too. Cheese Burger was awesome and the loaded chicken fried steak was great! Peach cobbler with ice cream for dessert! Service is excellent! Friendly and attentive! My favorite place to eat when in Dumas!

Loved the place, loved the host. He was very friendly witht he kids chatting with them about pokemon. I enjoyed my food but my family all ordered steak and complained that it was very tough. Host seemed very concerned with his customers so maybe just a bad day for the cook or a bad batch of beef. I would go back, the philly was delicious.

We loved this place! It had a full bar with great cocktails. Then they brought out wonderful rolls, with honey butter. The fried mushrooms were great. Our meals were so good, and we loved the apple cobbler. The manager was very attentive and professional. But the BEST part was our server, Maribel. She was fun, attentive and professional. We will be back any time we’re in Dumas!

No complaints really. The chicken fry was too thin for my liking. The mushrooms & service was great! Rolls were great as well! I don’t remember what the wife had but it was tasty! A steak dish. I’ll definitely try it again

Food was cooked to perfection! Nice environment and a lot of joy in the building and people around. I was very disappointed in the tiniest amount of toppings on the chicken and having to pay extra for a little bit more onions and mushrooms. The waitress had pretty short tone with us and asking if we really needed what we asked for for a good portion of our meal, but seemed to perk up and be friendly by the end, maybe it was just too busy. But overall I really enjoyed the place! 🙂

Best food for miles! Ordered the 287 Roadhouse burger and chili. It was awesome! Super friendly folks! The waitress was awesome, and Matt, the manager, walked around checking on everyone, not something you see anymore! Will definitely be back next time we are in town! And don’t forget about dessert..Fruity Pebbles Cheese cake! Amazing

Place was nice. Not the best of food. But it was good. I would come back for sure. Ribeye was good. A little well done for me but flavor was great and juicy. Mac an cheese , noodles was over done. Dry kids couldn’t eat it. Kids loved their club sandwiches. Side dishes was great. Chicken fried steak was good. Could be a little bit better. Kinda over cooked. Drinks was good. Service was perfectly on time. Never waited for anything. Seems to be clean. First time in there. We’ll kept. Quite steakhouse. I would recommend someone else there .
