When I saw a brand new Indian restaurant with 5 stars I thought it might be too good to be true, as Aroma had not been open for a week yet. After trying for myself, I can understand that it’s mostly true. I got the goat biryani, the goat was tender and the rice was aromatic and flavorful. Although I wish the dish came with more raw red onion.
My girlfriend was satisfied with her Asian/Indian fusion dish. She was impressed by the portions as well. Everything we had was a great value. For our appetizer we had gobi 65, it was a bit too crunchy/hard but still tasty. We let the manager know after the meal.
Atmosphere, the staff was extremely kind and helpful. Our server did a great job selling us on trying appetizers and desserts without being pushy. One thing is where we sat, every TV was playing the same playlist of music videos. Some variety would have been appreciated, like I saw that the winter Olympics were on in the other seating area.
Overall I was extremely impressed by the food for this restaurant to be open for such a short period. I hope it will be just as good if not better next time we visit!

Huge menu, so hard to decide but it was all absolutely delicious. Very helpful and courteous staff to answer questions, talk about spice levels, and sharing recommendations. Generous portion size with plenty to take home, but can’t wait to go back and explore the menu even further. So many clearly marked vegetarian dishes too. As a semi-newbie to Indian food I was asking the waiter about so many dishes that passed by the table because they looked delicious and I need to remember the name to try them next time!

Working in Charlotte , fasting and drive from Charlotte to Mooresville, by the time I came home my energy level was zero. We ordered Tuesday special a combo of street style chicken fried rice and chicken dum biryani. It was a blessing to be able to order and pick food quickly that taste authentic. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Loved the chicken dum biryani — perfectly spiced and full of flavor! The carrot halwa was sooo good and the perfect sweet finish. Definitely one of the best Indian spots in Mooresville. Highly recommend!
