Food was not good at all. I got the Guatemalan tamal and the meat on it was very weird looking. It looked raw and not appetizing at all. I also got the tacos dorados and they were very dry and the chicken was like grounded chicken and chewy. I couldn’t even finish one. If I wanted something disgusting like that I would of just gone to 7-11 and got their taquitos those would probably taste better. Hoping I don’t get sick from this.

For a DoorDash delivery order around 8 p.m., during a recent pickup at this restaurant, I was treated poorly by a female employee. I was cleaning my DoorDash bag to make sure the customer’s food would stay clean and safe, and I told her to please give me a second so I could take a photo of the receipt. Instead of showing any patience or understanding, she became aggressive and kept pushing me, saying “now” repeatedly, as if ordering me around which is not appropriate, especially since I’m not her employee.
For this delivery, I was only paid $4 for more than a 4-mile trip. Based on the IRS mileage depreciation rate of $0.70 per mile, that means I only made about $1.20 total for 20 minutes of my time, without accounting for gas and vehicle maintenance costs. I’m okay waiting when your restaurant is busy that’s part of the job but it’s not right that they can’t wait even a single second for me to do my part correctly. It’s also not her responsibility to tell me when to confirm a pickup on my app.
I’ve completed many DoorDash runs, and most restaurants treat drivers with respect and professionalism. This one stood out in a negative way because the employee showed no courtesy and no accountability for her behavior. Hopefully, management can address this so future drivers are treated with basic respect.
Edit: I showed both you and the employee before you my phone screen with the customer’s name twice, so why lie about it? Also, the receipt photo confirmation in the DD app is my responsibility, not yours.

I order through uber eats and my Carne was all burnt and top of it all I don’t know why you wouldn’t put the beans in a container it spilled all over my rice and salad just a hot mess and this is the second time it has happen I am just completely disappointed.

I ordered carne azada and there were 2 very small pieces. I believe the rice was from the day before as it didn’t taste as good as it used to be. Expensive prices and they had decreased the quality of the food. Look elsewhere if you like good Hispanic food.

Everytime I come in, it’s a really good experience. The food does have hispanic flavor. Love their Atol de Elote and fresco de Tamarindo. A good gem in the little river turnpike area.
