This place was ideally situated for a halfway stop. The place is clean and nicely laid out. Good parking.
The salad bar was absolutely excellent. The young waitress friendly and smiling. These are the only two stars this place gets because it all went downhill from there.
One ordered the fish fry and said it was OK but nothing special. Two of us ordered the gyro. We added a salad bar for around $5 each. Once the gyros were placed on the table it was instantly obvious that it was going to taste disgusting. The slices of ‘meat’ were dried up and as hard as cardboard. My food and retail experience led me to believe that this stuff had severe freezer burn and had dehydrated. That said, we tried it. I was vile!
The waitress came over and we sent the food back. She was polite and apologetic. Moments later the cook looked out from the kitchen and shot US a dirty look. Should have been the other way around. The waitress asked if we wanted to choose anything else. We politely declined. Appetite killed.
She gave us the bill and immediately was called over by the supposed cook. She came back, asked for the bill. Took it to him, started writing on it and then returned. The bill had been altered to charge us full price for the two salads. At this point, we just wanted to leave and do didn’t argue. Wonder why you didn’t get a tip? Take it out of the extra salad charge or ask the inept ‘cook’ to give you one. Great salad. Lovely waitress. A cook that obviously doesn’t mind serving potentially dangerous food. Stay clear of this place, unless you just want a salad.

The food was average at best. Pork tenderloin was nothing but a fritter. Meh! The server was so quiet we thought she may have been a deaf mute for a while.3 stars is the best I can give this place.

Food was great. Service was really bad! Waited about 20 minutes just to order our food and drinks. Didn’t even get our drinks, had to go up to the bar and ask for drinks after like another 5 minutes. I would understand if it was busy, but there was only us and a gentleman at the bar. Several dirty tables, IS it that hard to clean them? It comes off very unprofessional, and looks bad on the waitress.
