the caesar salad was fresh, although i was expecting a surprise flavor or maybe just a bit stronger anchovies (it was very mild), the risotto had good texture and it was nice and crunchy on the outside but kind of lacking on the inside, i wish there was something flavorful inside it to make it worth to get. we also got the pulled pork sandwich, it was flavorful and it was fine. the mariscada soup was the best, the flavor was really there and had all types of seafood. honestly it was the highlight of the dinner. the only thing though is that it was too small for the price.

Wandered in here completely by happenstance and glad we did! It was early Sat afternoon and the bartender had the place to himself. We got seated and he was quick to get us drinks as well as take our orders.
The chowder and oysters were excellent. We also got a couple of small salads which were crisp and cold.
Good selection of regional beers and a reasonable bar.

Our server was amazing. He was juggling a few tables and tending the bar, and somehow made it feel like we were the only table, and he had a smile the entire time. Serious multitasking at its best.
We did not research it. We just popped in on a frigid night with zero expectations. They exceeded them, and we will definitely plan a visit next time.
We had a few martinis, and everything was generous in portion. Wellfleet oysters, kale stew, scallop risotto, Brussels sprouts, and steak were all great.

Really enjoy the fish and chips for lunch
It was served hot. I got the lunch special which is one piece of Haddock and fries. I will return.

Came here on a Sunday afternoon – quiet but with a great setlist playing. Happy we found it – everything was great. Waiter was super chill and attentive – too notch service. Food was excellent – so had the fist tacos which were great (and perfectly accompanied by a hazy ipa). My wife had the fish and chips – fish was done so well and it’s a big portion!

Awesome place to grab fish tacos and a beer before a concert at St Paul’s Church. The food and drink are excellent, the staff friendly, the service fast, and the prices very reasonable. Lots of parking on Plympton and DeWolfe Streets.

Really like the atmosphere of this restaurant. Went on a Wednesday night so it was fairly empty and quiet, which I didn’t mind. Attended during Boston/restaurant week. Most of the food was great. The scallops with mushroom risotto and the vanilla crème brûlée, my favorite dishes of the night. Buffalo cauliflower and fish taco were also good. Steak was a little tough but that was the only miss. Both drinks were well made, “blackberry smash” and “bow and arrow cocktail”. There’s a street with parking meters nearby but otherwise you might have to search. Glad I decided to try this place, good prices and food was worth it.

It is a nice restaurant, with decent food
The haddock is good, although very heavy in spice. Good sauce, comes handy for the bread they serve it with.
The scallops are very tasty (only 5 though), but unfortunately the same cannot be said of the risotto they are served on: it lacks depth, the mushrooms are barely noticable, no traces of white wine or anything like that, everything is floating in major over abundance of melted cheese (honestly, tasting a bit like supermarket Gouda, pardon my French).

Beware: NO DECAF COFFEE! We were a group of 4 for brunch. The food was very good and we appreciated the atmosphere and the convenient location. There was only one person working the room and the place got quite busy, which meant we needed to wait every time we asked for something (like a water refill and the order of bacon he forgot). That part was somewhat frustrating (only because we needed to get somewhere right after, so we were watching the clock), but as the bartender/waiter explained, the busy period is brief, so it doesn’t make sense to have additional staff. Something that needs to be said because it was so unexpected and unusual: NO DECAF COFFEE!!! Someone in our group enjoys coffee but can’t have caffeine, so that was a big disappointment as she was expecting to have coffee with her brunch, as one would normally expect with breakfast food. I wrote this at the start of this review to convey this to people who may not feel like reading this whole review. I’d go back if I was in the neighborhood, but I’m a caffeine addict, so the beverage offerings were not a problem for me, lol.

It’s located in such a charming place, perfect spot to grab a drink. BUT- their food was terrible. We ordered Tuna Crudo that came w large unseasoned chunks of tuna and stale rubbery chips. The friend calamari was cold and soggy as well. Would not recommend you get the food there – just stop with the drinks..
