I reluctantly ordered from this restaurant, again, against good jugement several times before……… The results were always mixed, sometimes the kitchen would lay the crab rangoons I ordered RIGHT ON TOP of the steaming hot fried rice, then sometimes not…… Doesn’t common sense dictate when you put crispy items on top of steaming hot rice, and then CLOSE the container on top of that it turns to poop?!
*Apparently from what I was just told by the staff there, is that when you order a lunch combo, they DO this, but, when you order a dinner combo- they DON’T put the crispy rangoons on top of the rice, they put them in a seperate container to stay- crispy?!! What The……………………..

When I presented the staffperson with my observation, they just couldn’t seem to comprehend why this was a problem/issue at all??!
This staff persom was very unfriendly, acting and saying there is nothing wrong, and that’s the way things are?!!?
This should ring with everyone who reads this, as this behavior is mentioned in several other reviews, “our food is fine, nothing wrong/ YOU are the one who is incorrect”…………..

Ordered take out D16 meal- everything was extremely dry and definitely a few days old reheated. The person who ordered before me had an issue where he ordered the wrong items- the man taking the orders refused to make it right and told the customer to order the correct thing next time- extremely poor customer service and poor quality food – avoid- it’s clear they don’t care about repeat business- other than the 3 tables of eat in blue hair customers- the dine in area was clean – that’s the best thing I can say.

The Vietnamese salad was delicious. It was light and refreshing and a generous portion. Eric ordered chicken with vegetables. It also was very tasty, and of course we shared!

There was a piece of meat that was raw. The food is a little too oily. Also the portions of the combination plates are really small. When I Yit Ho was open which is not far from there down the street the combination plate portions were giant you would always have left overs. For the price you pay at Asia Taste for a combination plates you really do not get much of a value for the money you pay. I do like Asia Taste but would like Them to do something’s differently. They could give a little bit more of a portion.

Worst service and when I asked to exclude shrimp, chickwn, and tofu, to jyst add extra egg, they said itvwoyks be an upcharge! What??? When have eggs and chicken been less ecpxpensivecthan eggs? No flexibility, and I only wanted to substitute extra egg for shrimp, chicken and tofu. I didn’t ask for a discount, it they wouldn’t do without an uncharged! Guess I won’t be going there again. The man up front taking my order was rude about it too!

I am considered a “regular “here. Mostly, because I have frequented this establishment for their SUPERB luncheon specials! I have gotten to know the owner, “Joe” (his American name) and his lovely wife, they are omni-present, as they,TRULY, care about their customers. The kitchen is immaculate. As a contractor I have performed several small jobs in the kitchen and can personally attest to this fact. BTW: The food is AMAZING! My favorite lunch special is shrimp w/lobster sauce, garlic noodles and chicken fingers. Always, prepared fresh and with large fresh shrimp! Go there you WON’T be disappointed! The atmosphere is casual and clean, very relaxing.

Their fried rice is arguably the best among local Chinese food places. They have all of the typical “Chinese restaurant” staples, nearly all of which are quite good.
They have a Thai Basil Chicken dish that’s quite delicious (I tend to go light on the sauce), their Paid thai is key, and their Singapore Noodles are amazing, especially when ordered “extra spicy” (it’s not really much more spicy).
It’s a great restaurant, especially for the price. The service is nigh-impeccable, especially with the staff there on weekends. I’ve been coming here for just over 5 years on a regular basis, and have yet to receive a meal I thought was sub-par.
