I recently visited Deep Pocket Bar, also known as Yankee’s, and I have to say, it was quite the experience! The place has that classic dive bar charm, which I really enjoyed. It’s a fun spot to hang out with friends, but I was definitely taken aback by the drink prices—$50 for just two drinks!
While the atmosphere was lively and the staff was friendly, I expected a bit more value for my money. If you’re looking for a casual night out, just be prepared for those steep prices. It’s a great place if you’re in the mood for a vibrant scene and don’t mind splurging a little, but if you’re on a budget, you might want to think twice. Overall, it’s a fun spot, but definitely keep an eye on your wallet

I would give less than a star if I could. Never in my life have I encountered more rude people when at a bar. All of the workers here treat people like garbage and the owner couldn’t care any less. I watched as two bouncers forcefully drag someone out of the bar when that person was complying and respectfully walking out. The bouncers not only drag this guy out but proceeded to rip his shirt off and pull him to the ground. No such force was needed for someone who was willingly leaving when asked to. The workers at this bar are rude and nasty to their customers and the owner is the worst of them all.

Women’s bathrooms are disturbing: two stalls with curtains that open when the door opens. Drinks are cheaper at high tide bar down the road, even during happy hour. Bartender nice, although distracted by her phone.
No draft beer.
Looks entertaining during live shows but was dead when we were here at 5 on a summer Friday. Wouldn’t want to be here during a crowd though because of the bathrooms.

Best place for young adults iI Geneva-on-the-Lake, especially after midnight. Haha Atmosphere is awesome. The security guards were awesome too. Shout of to Tim.

Always a fun place!! Based on some of Google’s questions, this possibly described as a restaurant….they may serve food, but I’ve only ever been here for cocktails and fun….during the day u can have those options and talk amongst one another, but as the evening gets going and music is playing it changes a bit, but not in a bad way

Cool bar to visit. Very spacious inside and has a great outdoor stage. The service was excellent for how busy it was when I was there. They don’t have food but you can get it from food vendor right out their front door. I believe it’s called Mel’s.
