We are a family owned steak house located near Chub Lake in Person County. We cook all our steaks on a charcoal grill. Our salad bar has over 30 fresh items cut each day. Each weekend we feature a variety of specials. We are famous in the county for our hot fudge cake and our homemade cheesecakes.

Delicious!!!! Salad bar was so FRESH mmmm it was truly great to have a cold and fresh delights and fruit yum!!! Our server was excellent and our food was piping hot and so good. I ordered chop steak and baked potato and every bite was awesome. We will definitely go back and I recommend trying because this place is a “keeper”.

Have ate here several times but probably will not be back. The cooked food was bad, I had prime rib and was not cooked correctly. Tough to cut and chew and no taste. A couple people in our party ordered the hamburger steak medium and medium well and it came out burnt, dry and no taste. This restaurant has always been good but not now.

The staff, atmosphere and food do not disappoint. I haven’t had a bad dish here. My favorite is the filet with grilled shrimp. I also love the grilled chicken and baked potato. And always the salad bar. I never seem to be able to finish my meal after the salad bar. And you must have cake afterwards.

The staff was very nice and attentive. But the good was not good besides the salad bar. I got broiled scallops and I think they boiled them. Super rubbery and zero flavor. My husband got the ribeye and there was no seasoning on it whatsoever. Had heard so many great things about this place but we definitely won’t be back, especially for the price.

Everything was great the food was good as always. The service was fast and the waitress was friendly and spot on. The one room we were in with the fireplace could possibly stand a little more light.
