The burger was good but not great, though they advertise that they use fresh beef from a local ranch it really seemed like a frozen and reheated burger. The onion rings were great and the waitress was good and handled everyone on her own.
I will say though the burger wasn’t as good as expected the atmosphere definitely exceeded expectations. Such a cool looking little spot, a few small adjustments and it would be The Spot!

Tried the is place, once moving into the area and I’m glad we did! My wife got a burger basket. She loved it, the meat was seasoned wonderfully, the hand cut fries great and seasoned as well.
I had the catfish special, (on Thursday’s) so good, cooked to perfection, crinkle fries, hush puppies and cold slaw.
The staff was so friendly and very attentive……very clean! Give it a try!

This is simply one of those gems that you find yourself thrilled to discover. Awesome little shop just next door to the Baptist Church (have them explain the beer situation to ya – as a Methodist Preacher’s Kid I simply love the little bit of trivia and fun this brings).
The beef for your burgers comes from their ranch and it is sooooooo tasty! We went with the cheeseburger and the patty melt (sub mustard for the thousand island) and I’m not sure which one I can say was better – they were bith some of the best I’ve ever had. The onion rings were disappointing (frozen), but the fresh cut homemade fries knocked it out of the park.
Only a few minutes off of 35, this spot is beyond worth the incredibly tiny detour at lunch time to experience a truly tasty burger.

Loved my cheeseburger. Homemade fries, the farm sourced beef and free beer. The catfish was perfectly cooked. Great service. Worth going of the way to eat here. Will definitely be back.

Just happened to be driving through Italy and found this amazing place. Hands down this is the best burger and crinkle fries I’ve had in forever. The place is clean, restroom is clean and the waitress was very friendly. Do yourself a favor and stop here and eat. You won’t be disappointed

We just stopped to check this place out. Although I was always wanting to stop and check it out. I am so happy that we did. It was one of the best burgers I have had in a very long time. They use their fresh beef that they raise. The meat was hand patties fresh made fresh. The fresh beef flavor is phenomenal. Their homemade fresh cut fries are cooked perfectly and has their own house made seasonings. My husband had the elk burger and said it was better than the Elk burger he had in Colorado.
You have to go there and taste what I am talking about. Yummy.
Free beer and you can buy their beef and seasonings.

Haley waited on me. Service was great, burger was great, and they have free beer (they take donations for beer). It’s worth stopping in when in the area. Fries were homemade. I wasn’t crazy about the seasoning on fries but that’s just my opinion. I just like salt and pepper.

This spot is so good. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive. The food was delicious. I had the elk burger, never had elk before, glad I felt adventurous to give it a whirl. So good. Also tasted the hubby’s patty melt ( station cafe) also delicious. My son had the BBQ sandwich, he devoured before I could get a Pic or a sample bite . The queso brisket fries are a new favorite. So good. We also picked up some steaks and ground beef for home. Always excited to have local raised beef. Highly recommend and will be back.

I had the patty melt and my husband had a hamburger. The waitress said that was the house specialty. The place was. Entrails located on the main drag in a converted Texaco station. The inside was cozy.
