What a delight! This place is so fun. Ambiance is on point. Cocktails are top tier. Small bites are perfect size and so flavorful. Service was fantastic. Got there at 5 on a Thursday and there was no wait. Would absolutely come back here.

Wow! WAX Social the best bar/lounge on the West side. But it’s a Speakeasy / vinyl lounge, so get it right.
The drinks are well crafted, the light bites are delicious, the vibe is off the charts and the staff are mega.
We had the steak bites, ahi poke nachos, crab tostada and spicy cauliflower. All delicious, but that Ahi nachos have me dreaming about my next visit.
Love the ambience and ultra lounge DJ in the background. Finally! A lounge that understands background music needs to be low enough that you can still have conversations.
Seriously cozy lounge and we are coming back. It’s in the Best Western Hotel on upper canyon road just before the dealerships in what used to be the Shilo Inn cigar lounge (zero smoke smell so please don’t panic).

Cool, laid back speakeasy with great drinks and amazing atmosphere. Great music too. Friendly staff/bartender.

Whoa, this bar is seriously awesome! The vibe is so good, cool decor, nice lighting, and they even have dj on vinyl with great songs. The cocktails are super tasty (so many to try!) and the staff are really friendly.
It’s a new spot on the 2nd floor of the Best Western Hotel. I really hope more people find out about it soon, it totally deserves more love. I’d be so sad if it ever closed. Definitely one of my new favorite places! ✨

A cute speak easy hidden in a Portland area hotel. Super cool vibes, so many retro vinyl records and pictures in this place and there was live music the night I was there. Also superb cocktails and amazing food. 10/10 highly recommend.

We recently came to check this place out as we were curious about the new change to the original cigar bar. The inherit has transformed to a clean and relaxed area. The interior was well done and made you feel comfortable to be just there. They had some interesting cocktails which were all pretty enjoyable as well as some small bites. I did enjoy the Chain of Fools and Doctor My Eyes drinks as they were refreshing and easy to go down. The bartender was very knowledgeable and quick to make our drinks. I do like the atmosphere and service here and would come back again.

Sean has done such a great job here. From atmosphere to food and music vibes, all 10’s! I am from restaurant industry and invited my co workers with me to enjoy some time after work together and this place being later than normal on weekends is awesome.
We tried as much as we can food and alcohol wise and you can just tell there is great passion behind it all.
Next time you’re looking for a hangout, this is it!

This place used to be a cigar bar last time I was here but I understand the owner passed away so RIP. Now it’s a bar that has vinyl records and cool atmosphere. It’s in the best Western hotel on canyon road which is odd but it’s a cool bar with lots of pics on the wall so you have to try and figure out who the pics are. Great food and drinks and there is no smoke smell from previous cigar bar. Staff is super friendly so check out this local spot. Food was great and chef comes out to chat and they have Miller High Life. We stayed for quite a while so our bill was high but they have snacks and drinks that are normal prices. If you are hungry, they don’t have a full menu so you will not get super full but they have appetizers. We had the food picture and it was all pretty good.

Yoooo!!! This is my new favorite spot! The energy, service, food & drinks exceeded my expectations being that it’s in a Best Western which is actually really genius and a vibe. My friend was dj’ing and invited us and it was the highlight of our night. We will be back again. Shout out to Travis + team for giving us such amazing service.

The best thing is finding a surprise gem of a place that you’d never guess. This is one of those places. Wax Social is a magical place with some really inventive and tasty drinks, fun bites and a very cool vibe. I’ve already been back a few times. Props to the designer and dj/music master. I look forward to my next visit and sharing this gem with my friends.
