IMPRESSIVE!! Our 1st visit of many tonight.
I highly recommend the Ivory House! Over Jeff Ruby’s Over Marbl over Jags over Prime over son of a butcher. #1 in the area without a Doubt!! No BS.

We were greeted & seated right away the pianist was amazing!! She is really something special. If you have the ear you will hear your favorite songs played classically. It was a delightful surprise.

We order glasses of malbec, shrimp cocktail & deviled eggs for starters. The eggs have a unique taste that’s pretty good. If you’ve had really good ones you can skip these. The canjun spin they put on the shrimp cocktail was nice I liked it. Ate them all. St. Elmos in indy still #1 tho.
The cream corn was amazing. It was sooooo good . The whipped potatoes & grilled cornbread were really good to. The Brussels were cool. The augratin scalloped potatoes were next level!! The tomahawk pork chop was soo good my wife cried. No, seriously ,literal tears. I had to taste it & i aint gone lie. It was slappin. Nah fr slapping tho like close yo eyes & have an experience good. Whoever the chef was tonight deserves a raise!! I had the ny strip oscared with compound butter it was perfect !! I truly am impressed. We’ve ate at all the steak houses multiple times here Cincinnati & surrounding areas & this is the best place to go. We will be back soon!! The atmosphere is great for date nights its a intimate setting. They have a nice selection of signature cocktails. Staff was friendly & easy going. Oh the rosemary bread was super good to dip it in the salt then the butter & enjoy.. I hope you like Ivory House as much as we did.

Everything we ordered was fantastic. Cannot recommend the mussels (french style) highly enough. Service was attentive and friendly. Loved the live piano music, it made for such a lovely vibe.

Emma and Drew are amazing. Make everyone feel welcome. They are incredibly attentive and knowledgeable. My husband and I love the muscles, smash burger, filet, and tomahawk ribeye. Their brunch is incredible as well. Cincy hash and bread pudding French toast! You’re missing out if you haven’t been!!

SO good! finally made it here.

loved the 6oz filet mignon with the bacon wrapped scallops add-on, and whipped potatoes, and brussels sprouts with bacon. husband got the 14oz NY strip with the house steak sauce, and fingerling potatoes, and hot honey carrots.

servers are very nice and very attentive. I was stuffed after dinner and told my husband, “nope. no dessert.” I even folded my napkin and put it on the table.

…but then they brought out the dessert menu. incredible dessert menu! especially for coffee-lovers. we got the cinnamon roll + gelato. and the (very cozy and perfect for a Cincinnati winter) irish coffee.

truly, a west side gem.

Great food! We ordered the tomato bruschetta as a starter and it was excellent! I personally ordered the pork chop special and I must say I believe it was the best pork chop I have ever had! It was tender, moist, and flavorful! All of our meals were outstanding!

1st and last time visiting this place, shrimp n grits ordered, 34 bucks for it w half a plate 1st off then I sent the dish back as there was an ingredient in it was nasty, the manager proceeds to come to the table to ask what was wrong w the dish and that I had eaten the shrimp which she say was 5 on the plate, I ate 3 out of the 4 I saw on the plate. How do u go wrong w shrimp n grits though, I offered to pay for the 3 shrimp I ate and was charged 16 dollars for 3 shrimp, outrageous smh as much as this place cost for dining, the bathroom sink damn near falling off! Overrated! Outside of this experience, our waiter was awesome and the decor is nice but nah them grits nasty. Longhorn would never!

Went here because it has a reputation of great steaks.
The atmosphere was superb. Live piano music. The service was by far the best thing here.
The dinner rolls were quite addictive. We ordered the sea bass entre and the prime rib special. The sea bass was huge and tasty. The prime rib was also generous in size. Cooked as requested, but tasted more like a steak than prime rib. The desserts were ok…not the reason for coming
All in all, glad we did it once. It was a bit of. Drive to get here so probably won’t do it again given the distance and cost.
