We go to MVPS regularly (at least 4 times a month.) today we went for a late lunch/early dinner and our waiter BOBBY M was amazing! He made sure our drinks never ran out, checked on us respectfully and within a great time period, and he listened to my requests for additional drinks at the table due to my health issues. You don’t get great servers anymore and this kid was the best by far! 10/10 would recommend and as always the food was exceptional.

On a short road trip and made a pit stop not far from home. It was worth it. Great bar with big screens for the game and a solid drinks menu. Friendly and attentive service. And food choices for everyone. Salads. Burgers. Wraps. Fish tacos. Pasta. Steaks. Pizza. You name it. They have it. And they do it well. I started with the cheese fries, amazing green chili sauce. And ended with the cinnamon pretzel. Everything’s bigger in Texas, right? As are the smiles, mine included. Thanks y’all. I’m glad you’re within driving distance of the house. You can bet I’ll be back. Try it y’all, you’ll leave smiling.

Food was really good but cleanliness needs to be priority. Otherwise this would be a 5 star review. We were seated at a booth with both food and liquid on the seats; this should have been cleaned before we were taken to the table. Our service tonight was pretty good; no complaints there. I had the mango shrimp tacos and they were very good. The chips with queso and salsa were great! I have had the beef kabobs in the past and those were very good as well. The restaurant was not that busy, so not sure why they were not keeping the booths clean for their patrons. We will try again because options in Jasper are very limited.

Our waitress Honey was fantastic, very attentive and friendly. Our food came out all delicious and satisfying. We ordered the beef kabobs and they were tender and vegetables are well seasoned, The Texas heat wings were good and flavorful, the salad has good amount of servings,the Philly cheesesteak was delicious and so filling, the thick spiral cut french fries were amazing. The place is clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this place.

March 2026 crawfish season again !!!!!! And they are fantastic , potatoe and corn and all the dipping sides !!!!! Ice cold draft beer . Cant wait to go back❤️ Last year we ate crawfish here twice and they were so so so good ❤️very very very highly recommended . All other items we ever ordered for sides , so so good ! Great place to eat and enjoy a great time !!!!!

Terrible wait times, in the time we were waiting to be sat I noticed the number of tables that were waiting for their drink orders or refills, or food. Two waitresses came up asking who was over a recently sat table of 6 and neither of them took claim. We finally left and gave up and headed to El flamingo! Who sat us instantly and we got our order writhing 10-15 minutes

Food was fantastic, but the service SUCKED! The service was so bad that my 14 year old not only noticed how bad it was, but said something. Every Cajun dish was great and my kid woofed down his pepperoni flatbread pizza. My other kid really liked the Philly steak sandwich.

Food was delicious and hot. I ordered the Philly cheese steak and fries! Had a couple of draft beers too! Staff was very nice and good company while I was at the bar! Will be back.

We had a group of 14 and had two waitresses for our table. My lemon pepper chicken was good but rice underneath was bland. Ordered Mac & cheese and baked potato as sides. They brought Mac & cheese and red beans and rice. I kept asking about the baked potato and as I finished my meal she said the potato would take 10 minutes. I should have been offered an alternative side instead of assuming I wanted red beans and rice. My wife ordered the SW chicken which had several toppings on it, but did not have the mushrooms or avocado slices! Most at our table had chicken or chicken fried steaks and we had to request knives. Waitresses struggled to keep glasses refilled. I was going to leave a nice tip because we were always asking for something and the waitress was trying but the bill included an automatic 18% tip!! I’ve never had a bad meal here but it’s the little things that would make it a great restaurant! (Attention to details)
