Not sure if they ran out of properly sized boxes but this is a sure way to not get a repeat customer. This was our first time trying this place and would not go back. The vegetables on the pizza were uncooked and it overall wasn’t very good. We’ll stick to Villa Pizza!

It was ok. We went as a large group for our holiday party, about 20 +/-of us. We had reservations on Thursday Dec 11th and given them a head count – but 2 of us who got there 15 minutes early found they had not even set up tables for our large group! What if they didn’t have enough tables in one area?
Then what they set up wasn’t quite big enough. Other than that, they did bring us one more table that we had to put sideways to fit but it worked out.
I had the Margherita Pizza, small and took half home. I was disappointed. It only used mozzarella, not ricotta cheese. It was mediocre. I’ve had better Margherita Pizza in a pizza by the slice place in Fair City Mall in Fairfax City. (Actually, that’s the best margarita pizza I had there at Mama Lucia’s!)
I can’t speak for the rest of the food, that was my first and only time there (too far for me to go again when if I want, there is a Vinny’s in North Stafford, much closer. But the other ladies seemed to really enjoy their dishes although a couple near me said they didn’t think it was as good as others raved about. So some think the food is awesome, some, like me, think the food is mediocre. It might all depend on what you get or what your tastes are.
The service was good and fast and they didn’t forget anything that I know of. The restaurant was very crowded when we started at 6pm, but almost empty by 8pm.
Although – they had a whole other half of the restaurant that was dark and was never opened, so if it got any busier they could have used that half I guess.
If you go, try something besides the Margarita Pizza.

Additionally, wife says the best steak and cheese in the area belongs to Vinny’s as well. Pretty consistently get the eggplant parm, which is delicious. Got another pineapple 1/2 bacon, other 1/2 jalapeño pizza. They serve up a local Fred Red by the pitcher as well. Menu has recently changed, added photos of that. Had the pleasure of being served by Francisco the last couple of times. Spotless service. 5/5!
Vinny’s has been feeding my family for about 2 decades. Never disappointed with their subs and pizza, and i cant remember an entrée i didnt thoroughly enjoy.

I have been to this Vinny’s restaurant many times and they never disappoint. My favorite dish here is the cheese steak salad. That’s right skip the bread and put deliciousness on a salad! This trip I had the cheese steak sub with fries and it was great. I will be back.

Paper thin pizza — I called and spoke to someone to see if they had changed the recipe, because as soon as we opened the pizza, it was super thin — we have been loyal customers for years — whoever I spoke with over the phone kept just repeating the same thing how they don’t make thin crust unless asked — this pizza is way too thin, typically it’s thicker and more filling.. paid almost $50 for us to not even get filled– no help at all, or even an offer to make another one if we brought them a slice or emailed them — I don’t know if we will buy from Vinnys on Levells rd again– wish the customer service had been better, and the price for what we got was disappointing– it was good, but other than that, hard pass.. sorry Vinnys, unless you fix this you may have just lost a loyal customer
