Delicious food, came out fresh! Unfortunately, they were out of half the items on the menu and short staffed. Henry did well and was hospitable. He remained calm despite running what seemed like a “1 man show” and still provided quality service. I’d return next time in the area, still want to try the Haitian patty!

This food is very good. Kind of has the home cooked feel to it too. Only thing is the pickles could use a little work especially with the scotch bonnet pepper, I feel like they should be cut into smaller pieces. Also the price for it is very respectable compared to others. $15 for griot will have me coming back again for sure.

I recently wanted to find the best Griot in my area of Lauderhill I won’t name all the places that I ordered from but, I will just say this that Dutshy’s Caribbean restaurant has THE Best griot I have ever had in my life . I order from every restaurant that sold griot within my area and the griot from this restaurant was top tier . Not only that it is the best griot I’ve ever had in my life I only ordered black rice and griot but they still put plantains, which I hate and they also put the salad that I didn’t want but that griot was amazing and now as of today, I will definitely be a repeat customer. . I’m so glad I found them . It also had a great price and there was a very nice amount of food .

On Monday, October 13, 2025, I placed a telephone order for Jamaican brown stew chicken and Jamaican stew goat small lunch meals. I was disappointed. I received Haitian style soft fried goat for one meal and two baked drumsticks for the other meal. I asked the man on the phone if the restaurant was a Jamaican restaurant. He replied yes. I wanted Jamaican food not Haitian food. I enjoy Haitian cuisine, but I wanted Jamaican cuisine this day. This was truly a disappointment.

The griot was amazing, tender, flavorful, and perfectly marinated with that classic tangy, garlicky taste. The fried plantains were crispy, and the Diondion added a rich, earthy depth that made the meal unforgettable. A delicious, authentic taste of Haiti I’d happily enjoy again!
