GREAT SERVICE AND FOOD. BEAUTIFUL DINING AREA AND MOUTH WATERING MENU.
This place has what would be considered a standard Italian menu but everything is made fresh in house and has some small twist to set it apart
We had the octopus with hummus and it was amazing.
My girlfriend got the chicken parmesan and it was a home run. The also serve a side of pasta and for the chicken parmesan, it covered in a delicious cheese sauce.
I got the lobster fra diablo and it was spicy baby. Delicious and great portions.
Also, BYOB.
The waitress was so nice, she was proud of menu and all of the delicious fare.
Great experience start to finish!

The photos online look amazing, the reality just didn’t align. I’m giving it three stars because there was some food and while it wasn’t great, we ate something. Generally below three stars is reserved for stuff we throw directly into the trash.
Firstly, was this formerly a different restaurant? I literally walked in, saw the bamboo and other typical decor for a Chinese restaurant and thought I walked into the wrong place. But nope, it was the right store. Then when I was handed what was supposed to be two chicken Parm dinners, I was a bit shocked and concerned at the weight – hence why I took everything out in my car (believing that it must be the wrong order because it was so light!) Which brings me to the second disappointment – the portions. I don’t know what kind of crazy angles were used, but yeah, there was barely a cup (if that) of pasta in each of the smaller containers and then a very thin cutlet in each of the larger size containers. I’ve never seen any Italian place this stingy with pasta, which is pennies and hence is usually fairly plentiful. So off the get go, I was a little skeptical, but hey, maybe it’s a hidden gem. Although given how empty it was at 6:40 on a Friday night, outlook seemed doubtful.
And yep, the taste just wasn’t there. The sauce was overly creamed, with a very bland flavor. It missed the mark entirely, but we were hungry so we ate it while we joked about going out to eat in a little while as this $44 meal barely sufficed as an appetizer.

Enjoyed a nice birthday dinner here. Everything was top notch, the appetizers, the three different entrees, the atmosphere, and Joseph’s service. Two of us enjoyed entrees that were “specials.” They were excellent – also more expensive than anything on the menu, so ask about that if it makes a difference to you. They accommodate gluten allergies well. The GF appetizer pepperoni pizza was delicious, made with their house mozzarella. The tuna and ravioli dishes were scrumptious.

Please please please, show this place some love. First off the ambiance and vibe of this place was immaculate. Spent my valentines afternoon with my wife here and this place is a 110/10. The service was top notch. Joseph (our server) was very respectful and understanding when explaining what some of the dishes were. The FOOD was amazing. It didn’t take forever to receive anything we ordered and it came out hot and tasted very fresh. The server and chefs need a raise lol. Definitely will be coming back here to dine in again. Thank you Joseph, and thank you Osteria AMA for another great memory.

My husband and I went here yesterday for the first time the food was so good we finished everything. The food was season perfectly. For starters, we had the calamari with mussels and shrimp and bruschetta. For our entrées my husband had the short rib tortellini and I had lobster and crab ravioli. Both dishes were 10 out of 10. We them shared a cannoli that was out of this world. Lastly our waiter, Andrea was so lovely. We will definitely be back!

For the capacity of the restaurant, this place has extremely speedy service and food preparation times, and great food as well! The Chicken Parmigiana Rose was delicious in a creamy pink sauce, and the grilled artichokes were well cooked and flavorful.

We held our rehearsal dinner at Osteria AMA West Chester and it was everything we could have hoped for! Everything and I mean everything was taken care of. Jeanne and team did SO much to make this day completely stress free and beautiful for us. They set up the room for us, they were extremely kind and attentive, and even leading up to the event they answered all our questions and trust me, there were many. I dont usually leave reviews but I could not go without leaving a review to express how outstanding the service was AND the food, everything was delicious and they worked within our budget to make sure the meals were delicious without sacrificing the experience. Osteria Ama, Anissa, Jeanne, and team, thank you SO much for a wonderful experience that my husband and I will never forget!

Everything about this place was phenomenal. Service was excellent and efficient, professional, and friendly. Highly recommend the marinara sauce and the lump crab cakes entree. Atmosphere is best suited for adults only. Somewhat upscale so best not to go in jeans. Hot bread and olive oil/balsamic blend served was also fantastic.
