The Chicken gyro was wet, soggy & surprisingly all at the same time the Pita was burnt and that is all you could taste. The chicken was flavorless which shocked me compased to past experiences.
The veggies on it were also not fresh. My lettuce was clearly wilted, and old. The onions were soggy & transparent as if they had been frozen & defrosted for use. The Spinach Pie also was a fast let down. It lacked the traditional flavor it once had coming out of this location. Honestly, it tasted very strong like Dill and no other flavors were notable. I don’t often make complaints however this is not my only recent negative experience. This use to be one of my go to places for wings, and gyros but the last month an half the food quality shifted and just simply is not the same. I wish they would go back to their old ways because the experiences were always great in the past! Overall disappointment tonight.
This place is still super impressive. Food is still delicious and the customer service received still pure perfection. It’s like dining at a family member’s home.
This place was amazing! Tons of parking in the shopping plaza. Clean and comfortable establishment. Plenty seating, including outdoor patio area. Lots of tvs and trendy music playing throughout the store. The bathrooms need some updating but it was clean and stocked. Very friendly staff. Waiter was extremely attentive. My table table didn’t want for anything. We received a constant flow of drink refills. The food was absolutely delicious! Very flavorful and extremely fulfilling. Large portions. Definitely received our money worth! Prices were comparable to other establishments in the area! A win-win for you and your stomach. I will return!
However, if you’re looking for a table service restaurant for dinner and an owner genuinely interested in the diner’s experience and not a bunch of weird rules for the menu (like no sandwich can have anything “on the side”), this is not your place. Service was average for waitress, but bartender could have done better for sure (even after hearing I was a first-timer). Rather than answer my question about draft beers on tap, he twice directed me to “read the menu” (which btw has no useful info about the beers). Giving him credit for stopping by before we left to ask how we liked it, but I didn’t get the sense he wanted to really hear the answer.
I’ll be back because I really want to try their gyro, but it will be during a game while sitting at the bar with a beer or as takeout for lunch more than likely.
My experience was Top Notch.
I was here back in 2015 and boy oh boy, it’s only gotten better!
Don’t miss out! You will love it! Wish there was one on this side of Pgh, one in Monroeville or Murrysville!!
