Staff is ALWAYS impeccable, friendly, courteous, and helpful.
The place can get really busy on Saturdays, be prepared for that, it really shows how wonderful the place is.
A lovely huge array of options from food to the drinks, I’m sure anyone can find something that will be their favorite.
Their name sake cinnarolls are a wouldful treat, along with those cinnamon roll pancakes, a definite must try. If looking for a solid breakfast, go for that ‘Cafe Mess’ you’ll not regret it, though it is enough to feed 2
Espresso based drinks are great and easily to get it to go, just head on up to the register. There is the basic menu and a speciality one.(Keep in mind that speciality menu does change, so get that unique one while you can)
Other drinks consist of Chai, (really good) and lemonade, juices and sodas as well.
Place is well kept and easily located right on Philadelphia St, Walking distance from the parking garage. There is street metered parking And more parking is found in the back.
Stop on in, youll not regret it, and remember they close at 2pm

Even with a line of 12 people waiting we were sat within 5 minutes. Food was out within 5 minutes of ordering 3 diverse meals. All fresh. Was very impressed. The quality is top notch for land locked rural Pennsylvania. Will continue patronage. Only draw back is “parking in rear” cool. Where?

I LOVE this place!!!! The food is wonderful, the staff is pleasant & friendly, & the prices are good (you get a decent amount of food for the price). If you like strong coffee, you will love the coffee here. I’m picky about my pancakes, but the ones I’ve had here are amazing. And their fries are like a batter-dipped ~ perfectly crisp outside with the soft interior. I will definitely be back.

A really nice little place for breakfast or lunch. It is immaculately clean, nice decor. Servers were really attentive, pleasant and efficient. Menu is great. Plenty of healthy, intersting and tasty options. Espresso coffee was very good. We had lunch there while driving back home to Canada and it was really refershing to find a place that wasn’t just serving deep fried junky food and pizza. I would be happy if this restaurant was in our home town! Would go any time I am in the area. Also, prices are very reasonable!

Went to Cannella Cafe for breakfast before hitting the bike trails for the day.
Restaurant was clean, service was excellent, pancakes with blueberries were delicious, had link sausages they were acceptable.
Also noticed as an out of towner that this is a place where locals come. Everybody who came in knew everybody who was already sitting and I do mean ‘everybody’
Also of note is all the beautiful buildings in downtown Indiana.

Every time we’re in town visiting family, we have breakfast at Crouses’s! Today (Saturday, October 7, 2023) we arrived around 7:30 am and ordered scrambled eggs with a muffin and fruit along with a side order of home fries! For the second dish, we ordered a vegetable omelet and toast. The staff is always super friendly! It was IUP Homecoming weekend. By the time we finished our breakfast, the cafe was packed!!
