Great Food. We had the Turkey Bacon Ranch Sandwich. They have gluten free bread option. It was delicious. The bartender recommendation of the chipotle aoli was spot on. Very tasty. They have a beautiful bar and friendly, attentive staff. The Christmas drink specials are very festive. We tried the winter berry sleigh cocktail . I highly recommend the food and drinks.

After a botched Valentine’s Day dinner led me and my partner to the Forum, our hopes were low and we just wanted a place to sit and have a meal. This place blew our expectations out of the water and we will definitely be returning. I believe our servers name was Bailey, she was incredible. Very attentive and friendly, checked in with us regularly and was very on top of everything. The food was very good, I highly recommend the French Dip. All in all, the Forum saved our holiday plans and gained a few new customers.

Best burger I’ve had in downtown Tacoma. Add-ons high quality. Good beer, good outdoor seating on the nice downtown strip. Tiffany B. was very helpful throughout our visit.

Friday late night– definitely the place to be if you like to be in the Middle of everything. It was packed. The service was still excellent and as to be expected given how busy they were. Some of the best food I’ve had. Unique and distinct flavor combinations make everything Pop! Everything was fresh too. Service with a smile.

Food is no longer good. We won’t be coming back again sadly we used to frequent here. Smaller portions now. The poor Jucy Lucy is much smaller, no longer covered in onions and no oozing cheese coming out. It’s just a small Medicare cheeseburger now.
Shrimp tacos: they changed the type of shrimp. Shrimp were overcooked. Tortillas and shrimp cold. Tomatoes old and squishy, avocado slices much smaller and older too. Barely any cabbage slaw. I asked for more slaw and was given co slaw. No limes. Boring and poor quality overall. Fries are still decent but smaller portions of that too.

Feb 2025: We usually go here for midday happy hour. The Juicy Lucy is amazing and their shrimp Tacos are great too. The fries are double fried and extra crispy. With a variety of fry sauces which is fun. Usually our service is fantastic also.
We have also hit them up mid evenings mid week.

When we came for late night happy hour after a later show down the street, I was surprised it transformed into a busy bar/club vibe. People constantly in and out. Extremely loud and poor music, even when I like a variety of the new stuff.

We eventually had a waitress come over after about 15-20 or so minutes. No drinks offered or asked about. She drops off menus and comes back about 15 min after asking our orders. Then she disappears altogether. We wait about 30+ minutes without seeing her again.
It is so extremely crowded I wouldn’t even know who to ask if our food was even being cooked or how long. We decided to leave and go elsewhere.

I believe they need to stop serving food by a certain time on busy nights. Or have dedicated staff that just do food orders.

Too much chaos going on. It’s disappointing too because the bar has a charming vibe. And this was not the crowd I was expecting to be at it.

We will come back but not late nights.

Ate dinner twice here this past week on our visit to the region. Fabulous food each time, excellent and then very good service, discovered Mango Cart beer (on a rotating tap so not always going to be around I believe… Sad) here and it is delicious. Husband loved the burger and tater tots. The build your own burger was right up his alley. I enjoyed the pulled pork sandwich with the French onion bisque each time. Incredible. First time there we also had the ice cream with caramel sauce which was fantastic – the caramel sauce was like melted werthers candy. Yum.

I wish I had taken pics of the from of the restaurant. But I thought the bathroom looked so cool. You have to go yourself and catch the vibe. I like the games in the back, made it seem like this place turns up when there are groups of friends around. The staff were welcoming and the restaurant was clean, from what I could see. The salad my friend had was huge, to me it’s shareable. I like to try new things but my go to is always the BLT!! My egg in the sandwich was over cooked but good. And I didn’t like the grilled tomato. After taking the tomato out the BLT was delicious I think the ranch dip was housemade, very dilly how I like it. The small fries were on point. Also ladies I think it very nice to put tampons in the bathroom, for someones emergency!! Thank you

The restaurant we wanted to go to had a long wait (during lunch hour) so we just looked around and we happened to walk-in to this restaurant and turned out to be really good. Since we are in downtown area of course there’s no private parking. Just metered parking and if you’re lucky may find a street parking. It looks like a bar from classic movie. The antique/tavern decor tells the history of this restaurant.

The food was good. From soup to salad to Mac and cheese. It was all delicious. I ordered the Mac and cheese topped off with bacon. My Mac and cheese was on point because it was served hot and the bacon was still crunchy. It was a large serving in my opinion can be for two people.

My friend had a beautiful cob salad and fried pickles. Now the fried pickles is recommending! It came with two different house sauce, you can’t go wrong with that. We were in a bit of a time crunch so we asked a lot from our server and he honored all of our requests. Our server was so polite!

The food came same time as the check as we requested. Also they do not have a problem splitting up the bill which is such a convenience for different parties!

FYI: this is also a hotel. I have to say location and vibe is timeless classic.

I loved the vibes and the bartender and server were so nice. I am writing this review because the food was tasty but I am gluten sensitive and can tolerate cross contamination. I ordered a gluten free bun for my burger. This bun was absolute magic and looked different than the bun my sister got so I just figured they had figured out how to make gluten free buns soft and amazing. However, for the last two days I have been having a terrible reaction like I had gluten. It is the only place I have eaten and outside the norm and symptoms started about 30 minutes after leaving. I don’t believe that the bun was actually gluten free and now I am in for days of feeling sick.

WOW … What a find this place is! Great service awesome drinks, great food! Haven’t had French onion soup in years and it was spectacular! Do not miss out on this place! The bar is super cool, all wood and from the late 1800’s .. stained glass and wood carvings really give this place a great look and feel.
