Let’s see, this places strength is the price for sure. Can comfortably eat well for 20$. However you get what you pay for I decided to get a quesidilla which was tolerable but little over priced for an appetizer. And my meal of an enchilada and chimichanga with rice n bean, Greta portion but the beef was just hamburger meat with great value taco seasoning as for my enchilada the chicken was bland and washed out flavor wise. The beans were nothing to write home about and the rice hard like it was made a few days ago.
The short answer if your trying to each for cheap why not, if you have some more money to spend go somewhere else.

Hands down best Margaritas I’ve had in anchorage. I did get top shelf liquor but there was almost a vanilla taste. So good! Based on the reviews I was hoping the food would be better…we didn’t think the food was that great. But the Margaritas!

Read the reviews and was hopeful for a nice dinner. My husband and I ordered one chicken and beef burrito. The chicken was obviously canned, it was quite bland and still had the distinctive slimy texture and aftertaste found in a just cracked can. The ground beef tasted strongly of liver and was similarly unappealing. The rice and beans were nothing special. In all, not remotely worth the $43 total we spent.
A shame because the building was very nicely decorated and the service was fast and friendly. Maybe their other food is worth the time and money, but I won’t be finding out.

This is the first true authentic Mexican restaurant that I found and dined at in the two weeks that I’ve been in Anchorage, Alaska and coming from San Francisco where there’s a rich cornucopia of authentic Mexican cuisine including food, trucks and taquerias. This made me really happy because I got a chicken quesadilla suiza that had the right amount of spices and extra melted queso and shredded chicken. I needed to hit that spot of contentment for cheese lovers like me

Food and service was great! First time dining at Panchos and we were not disappointed. We didn’t have time to take photos of the other dishes we ordered. The smell was so good and we were super hungry when the food got served. Nice environment and beautiful yet simple Mexican decor. If you love Mexican, check the place out.

We visited Panchos Villa Mexican restaurant after enjoying the Musical Six, and it exceeded our expectations! The restaurant was impeccably clean, and the staff was not only friendly but also remarkably attentive. The menu offered a delightful array of choices, and the food was beyond amazing. My husband savored a flavorful margarita and arroz con Pollo, while I indulged in a mouthwatering Carne asada steak burrito with all the fixings. Ok..folks…it was ok ..good food..for take out..However…I know covid and the restaurant business suffered..and there’s relief and programs for both the owner and employees…and you might still suffer from the higher prices of food and gas..but let me tell you this..that ok/ good food that is really inexpensive that costs you $32.00 for one plate & dessert ..for take out..no utensils..no napkins..and no chips and salsa..thus is greed..and laziness..think about it..bo ambiance and no table service for one person and the cost of beans and rice..is truly not worth your hard earned money..I wanted to be fair and I slept on this that 5 years ago I felt the same way about this place..iam truly sorry for this review. But I don’t think it’s a good deal…
