The million dollar bacon was excellent – drizzled with syrup and pepper. All the kids liked this.
The current seasonal specialties- tres leches french toast – the toast was good, but the tres leches made me want syrup – a lot more syrup- as it made it drier even with the whipped cream and strawberries.
The chimi steak was too dry (they didn’t ask us how anyone wanted it done… so not the best), though the hash was plenty of potatoes and the egg was done right with the chimi churri sauce a nice touch across.
Service was ok, but very busy so they didn’t come around much.
The service was good. It was pretty empty as it was a weekday and breakfast hours.
Biggest complaint was the glasses had terrible water stains on them. Like none of us wanted to use them.
The pumpkin donuts were very dry inside. We didn’t finish them and told the server. I’m surprised at her response which was – they’re better warm and with milk. Well that’s not how we had them … so. Besides her response, she was very attentive. My platter was 14.99. On the higher side for small egg and greasy potatoes. Instead of meat I was offered fruit since I’m a vegetarian. The lavender lemonade was good. The coffee was an ok flavor but I would have appreciated a dairy creamer instead of non dairy because those offered aren’t good for your health. I didn’t ask , though , since that’s all that was on the table. Whole grain toast with jam. The restaurant is clean as well as the bathroom. Handicapped parking should be closer to the restaurant. Overall, a decent place to eat.
