Passing through this town. Seemed to have good reviews so I decided to try it. I greeted the host at the register and asked about seating, he said take a seat wherever. Went grabbed a seat and sat for 10 minutes where the host and other servers could see i was waiting for service. I guess they don’t care to serve outsiders, because they would just look over but never even offered a menu. I got up to leave and he just glance and went about his way. Never stopping here again!

I was in town for work and “Rosita’s Restaurant” was recommended for lunch. Walked in with a party of 10, they were able to seat us just fine. Please note the tables are plastic tables, no table cloth or cover. Waitress took our order in an orderly manner, wasn’t too charming or welcoming but did her job. Many in my party ordered Chicken Fried Steak/Chicken, Chicken Fajitas, Grilled Chicken Plate, Enchilad Plate or Carne Guisada, no one really complained about their food. We also ordered a blooming onion and chips and salsa and it was pretty good! In my opinion, it is very Tex-Mex, nothing close to authentic but that’s okay. Also the red rice was like cut up in tiny pieces, honestly it looked like quinoa, I was a little disappointed in them not having the basics right like rice and beans. One thing I think they could really help them is a very simple deep cleaning, the bathroom was unclean and smelly, you can tell they’ve never cleaned something so simple like the number signs on the table, I couldn’t imagine the kitchen. Overall an okay experience, I probably wouldn’t be back to eat there for lunch. Prices are reasonable.

Nice humble place were most locals attend. Reasonable, great service , clean and tasty . I always have this hamburger because it’s tasty and not greasy . You can always substitute the fries. Yes , the fries are not wing stop fries or have Parmesan with garlic salt . Again very humble place with nice friendly people. Sometimes you have to go to places like this to make you realize they are truly nice people out there.

We placed the order the weight staff was overwhelmed kitchen staff taking too long to make orders put out. We never got a chance to taste the food never got it. We had to cancel the order and go somewhere else paid for our drinks and left.

Great friendly service. I ordered the chicken fried steak with fries and a side salad. The chicken fried steak literally took up the entire plate. It was a hand-breaded, deep fried steak, with home style fries, country gravy and Texas toast and a side salad. Great tasting food and very large portions. I definitely recommend this plate and place in Carrizo Springs, TX. Happy eating.
