I recently had the pleasure of dining at Kohinoor Restaurant, and I can honestly say it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. The food was incredibly authentic, full of rich flavors and prepared with so much care. Every dish tasted fresh and true to traditional cuisine.

What truly made the evening special, however, was the owner. He was genuinely the friendliest and most welcoming restaurant owner I have ever met. His warmth, hospitality, and passion for his restaurant made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. He took the time to talk with us, share stories, and make sure everything was perfect.
Highly recommended!

Very good and tasty Indian food. One of the best we had in europe. We ordered poppadoms, chicken madras, chicken biryani and malai kofta. It was one of the best malai kofta I’ve had in europe. Everything was really good. Naan was soft. Highly recommended! It was our first time in vienna and it was a nice surprise to find this restaurant!

I recently had food at Kohinoor and no doubt the food was amazing, especially the garlic naan, mirchi paneer, dal makhni, and Lacha paratha.
The service was excellent and hospitality by the owner made us feel right at home.
Will visit next time again.

Delicious indian food! Wide range of vegetarian options, and everything tasted authentic. We had the papadum, onion pakoras, roti, paneer mirchi, and yoghurt. The achaar with the papadum was tasty, and the paneer mirchi was spicy and incredible!

Late Aug24- good food, medium spiced. We hade chicken tikka masala and fish curry. Lovely gravies.
2 wait staff who managed the whole restaurant and sometimes slower than would have liked for the bill and clear up.
Plenty of tables and plenty of people coming and going.
A little dated but clean and comfortable.
Upstairs only so be weary if walking issues.
€47 (£40) for two mains, 2 bread and 2 soft drinks
Would recommend.

After a long day of sightseeing, we were starving, and found this fabulous authentic Indian in the heart of Vienna. After our meal, chatted with the gentleman running the place, who told us they’ve been around since the mid-eighties! The experience shows – loads of vegetarian options (as is usually the case with Indian cuisine), yummy food and friendly, quick service. Definitely give Kohinoor a try if you are in central Vienna.

Best food we had in whole Austria. Firstly the restaurant is certified Halal. We had the butter chicken, fish curry, raita, rice & naan. I told the waiter / owner we were missing our spices from home & so he brought us his favourite green chilli chutney. The butter chicken was great but the star was the fish curry. The raita went very well with the green chilli chutney. It was a fantastic dinner.
TQ sir

The samosas are just like they taste in North India. We ordered 3 for 2 people and they disappeared in no time. The chutneys are finger licking and too good. The owner and waiters are so warm-representing Indian hospitality at its best. Thank you

Food was really good, we ordered chicken tendori, chicken butter and chicken bryani. We also ordered one samosa, it was good but too spicy for me. The place was quite, we were the only one in the restaurant, and the waiter was polite and happy to serve us. The place is kond of expensive for an indian restaurant. You have to go up the stairs to reach the restaurant (not disabled friendly).
