Ok when I tell you I was surprised to find an authentic Italian restaurant I mean it. This place has the best meatballs I have tasted in Washington state to date. And just after spending time in Massachusetts and tasting authentic Italian food there this place is on point. Get in here and get you some food. The deserts look amazing. We were too full to try but I promise we will be back .

This is really a solid 5 star restaurant for food, service and atmosphere! Food is great and reasonably priced. Large portions, great flavor. We had the crab and lobster ravioli and the halibut pasta. Service is excellent and the restaurant and town make it a great experience. We loved it!

This place is just lovely! The waitress so kind and attentive. They had many options for my husband who is gluten free. Might I add, it was the best gluten free noodles we have ever had! Our food was hot and delicious. We highly recommend this to anyone and everyone. I’ve never been a fan of tiramisu, but this place has changed me. That cream was so fresh and all the flavors were there! Wow this place is a gem!

The minute I walked in, you had me at
H E L L O!

This place was recommended by a friend and WOW—seriously, you won’t be disappointed. The portion sizes are next-level, like Thanksgiving-on-a-plate kind of generous.

Come to Gianfranco hungry! ☺️✨

My TINI (martini) was perfect. The basket of bread? Amazing—though you may want to pass just to save room. We ordered a fantastic bottle of Cab Sav and jumped straight into dinner. ⬇️

Ken ordered these crazy meatballs (you have to see them to believe it), and I went for the prawns. So much food, and not a single shortcut on flavor.

In the end, we left full, happy, and totally ready for a nap.

Just like Thanksgiving… yet, no dishes! PERFECTO! ❤️❗

I visited this restaurant because of the high reviews, and while the atmosphere is nice and cozy for a date, the food was a major disappointment. Most importantly, I became mildly ill after my meal. My dish should not have contained raw or undercooked ingredients, so I don’t know why I would be sick, yet I was .

The flavors were also lacking. My spouse’s dish was bland and “milky” flavored, my chicken was completely unseasoned, and the potatoes had same milky taste as well. Pizza was quite good, I would actually recommend that if you choose to go there. However the he cappuccino was not that good and only half-filled. While dessert was good, the high prices are not justified by the low food quality. Having dined at many authentic Italian restaurants in Washington, I can say this is not one of them. I do not recommend this place.

The caprese was HUGE and delicious. There were lovely garlic and herbs in oil and balsamic on the table when we arrived and they brought regular and warm gluten free bread! I would 100% go back for that. The servers were so sweet and the music was fun and the place was cute. However, the lamb shank was microwaved-scalding hot on the outside and really cold inside and the veggies it came with were basically raw zucchini, carrots, and summer squash with oil. It was not edible and I’m pretty easy to please if it’s gluten free and I’m hungry. They did take our reservation over the phone despite it saying no reservations available online, yet the restaurant was empty-so hopefully it was just not a typical night. I would give it another chance if I’m in Snoqualmie again.

We had a wonderful dinner at Gianfranco in Snoqualmie. The serving team was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel well taken care of from start to finish. Portions were generous — definitely come hungry. The restaurant itself is intimate and charming, the kind of place that’s perfect for a cozy, special dinner. A real gem in Snoqualmie and one we’d be happy to return to.

We made a reservation on open table and glad we did, as every table was full in this small, intimate restaurant. We were seated right away in a cozy booth. The rigatoni inferno that I ordered was absolutely HUGE. We should have split it as we were staying at Salish lodge and ended up tossing the rest. All the food was amazing. My husband is still talking about the homemade marinara that came with the garlic bread. The only downside to the meal was that it was very quick. I know normally that is a good thing, but I feel like a nice dinner like this should be more of an experience. It just felt very rushed.

Out celebrating my birthday ( on 4.5) is always a special occasion, and my fiancé, who has a deep appreciation for Italian cuisine, decided to make a dinner reservation at Gianfranco’s based on its glowing reviews. Raised in an Italian home and working in the industry, my fiancé and I both enjoy dining out.

As someone who tends to avoid too much gluten, I usually opt for a filet when it’s available on the menu. We typically start our meals with an appetizer, but the bread served at Gianfranco’s was less than enticing. It tasted like it was purchased from a grocery store, perhaps Safeway, and was enough to deter us from ordering anything extra.

When our meals arrived, we were taken aback. If what was served was a filet, then I have never truly experienced one before. The dish resembled a McRib more than a filet, prompting us to question its authenticity. One of the staff members dismissively remarked that “he doesn’t know what a filet is.” Before we knew it, another staff member, a taller woman, approached us with raised voice, declaring that we clearly weren’t satisfied and that they would take the meal away. We didn’t even complain about my fiancé’s meal.

In an effort to make amends, the restaurant offered us a replacement meal, which we accepted. However, after taking a couple of bites, I couldn’t shake the feeling of being observed; I noticed a man peering at me from the kitchen. When offered boxes to take the replacement meal home, we politely agreed, though I felt uneasy when the meal was taken back to the kitchen to be packed.

As we left the restaurant, I noticed an “Ok” rating from the Health Department displayed on the door, which further fueled my discomfort. We decided to dispose of the replacements meals in a nearby trash can, unwilling to risk consuming them.

Despite the unsatisfactory experience, there was an attempt by one of the staff–the lady who didn’t raise her voice–to rectify the situation by charging us for only one meal. This gesture of goodwill is the reason I’m giving Gianfranco’s a rating of **2 stars**. While the dining experience was far from what we had hoped for, the effort to address our dissatisfaction did not go unnoticed.
