Ok. So here’s why I gave 4 stars for the food. Any & everybody that know me, know I am a bbq ribs fanatic. It is my most favorite food ever. Nicks was good but I’ve had better. His was really tender but mostly bone. Texture was very good. No same thing on catfish, I don’t eat everybody catfish because they dont know how to clean it & cook it…NICKS CATFISH SANDWICH WAS PERFECTLY GOOD The service was like family. Come on in & have a seat. I absolutely loved it. I really like this place and very much look forward to eating here again. Oh yeah, plenty of parking.

Warning: don’t get rings as yer side.—Nice folks. Decent enough food. Spouse liked her bbq chicken and sides. Fish sand was yummy and a little small but mostly of filling.
Disappointment was three onion rings. Wife tried to sell it as “really big rings” but i wasn’t buying it. See pix, thats what came out. You tell me. Wish id got the okra.

Stopped for the first time after passing it for years. The catfish and shrimp were delicious and so were the greens and potato salad. If you like dessert, the banana pudding was really good! Great stop with plenty of parking for truckers.

Great brisket, catfish, fried green tomatoes, black eyed peas, & turnip greens that my family/friends and I had here on a road trip. Nice & mildly noisy atmosphere and friendly staff made it a restful experience. To top it, the food is reasonably priced too.

STRONGLY RECOMMEND, Oh dear me talk about southern hospitality in the south. You should stop by and let this staff warm up your heart with. The special thing about this place is everyone here is walking around with a 5 gallon bucket with 7 gallons of southern hospitality in it. They spill it everywhere and on everyone. It comes so natural that I doubt that they even are aware of it. They are down home humbled and they will pull you in and make you feel like family.
Please forgive me for forgetting about how good the food is and you can taste the warm family spirit they put into everything they do. I had the catfish and it was awesome. This place will find a special place in your heart ❤️.

Got the chopped pork bbq fries, & coleslaw.
Pork was amazing, fries are awesome, coleslaw was fresh & crunchy.
Grabbed a deluxe catfish dinner to go for later.
7 pieces of breaded catfish ( tasted and was mouth watering). This place is saved in my gps. I will be back. See you next time…. oh the waitresses are spot on.

Okra got destroyed so good.

Nexus famous and Nick’s awesome we didn’t know Nick’s was as famous as it was. The barbecue is good the barbecue sauce is excellent the tomato relish you have to try. atmosphere is great. catfish is the best catfish it’s really good I enjoyed the meal and all the fixings that come with the meals are awesome. Fried pickles were awesome Fried green tomatoes were awesome pretty good catfish I feel is better than the barbecue or what we had.
