A real gem for gopchang BBQ with incredible hospitality. The cozy space and the friendly aunties greeting us with warm barley tea set the tone right away. We ordered beef intestines, NY steak, and pork belly, and soon our table was filled with an impressive spread of yummy banchan. The meats were all high quality, and the aunties grilled everything perfectly – the steak was flavorful, the pork belly crispy, and the beef intestines rich with a fatty textured that mellowed nicely after frying. The whole experience felt genuinely like family, and the quality and value are easily among the best in Chicago.

Among the restaurants in Chicago suburban, there were many good reviews, so I visited there for the first time with my wife. There was a little waiting time, maybe because it was the weekend, but the staff organized the table quickly, so I was able to sit down without waiting for long. The ‘banchan’ prepared when I ordered and waited for the food felt good about the type and taste and made me look forward to the main dish even more. Finally, the food I ordered arrived, and I was surprised at the amount that the chef thought I had made a mistake and decided when I tasted the food that was well-baked on the grill. ‘I’ll have to bring my parents next time!’ And finally, while the servers are busy, their kindness in customer service remains very impressive.

The quality of the meats was exceptional — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly portioned. We loved how every cut was tender and delicious, especially when grilled to perfection right at our table. We ordered marinated beef short ribs and gopchang soup. The short ribs had a naturally rich, sweet-savory flavor—perfect if you like a bit of sweetness.
As a gopchang spot, their soup is a must-try! The gop was incredibly tender and packed with flavor, and the portion was huge. Definitely taking leftovers home.

THE place to go to eat gopchang around the Chicagoland area and they are still continuing to serve it while maintaining quality and freshness. Service was immediate but they were getting really busy for just 2 servers. Side dishes were plentiful and always refilled. Get the fried rice they make in front of you after your meat entrees!!!

OMG. So delicious. This is my favorite Korean restaurant in Chicago. Place is clean and the owner is super sweet and attentive. The side dishes has so much flavors and it compliments the main dish so well. Everything on the menu is so good and you can get wrong. Last night I left my Valentino purse and when I went back the owner remembered and brought it out. Phew, It would have been a disaster. Thank you!

Unlike some other places, intestines were well-prepared and done without any stinky smell. That made our experience a lot more enjoyable with other great side dishes and drinks.
This place was very energetic and lively with music and video blasting the whole time we were there. Some might find it loud, but it was great for us adults.
There a private parking lot right next to the restaurant as well.
