Decent option for affordable sushi bowls in the Harvard student center.

Picked up a salmon bowl and an eel bowl for lunch. The area’s saturated with ramen shops and casual Asian spots, but Japanese options are surprisingly thin. This was one of the only quick sushi bowl choices nearby, so I gave it a shot.

For the price, portions were solid. All the extras like scallions and mayo came at an additional cost, so I went with the basic. The grilled eel bowl was good with its default toppings, but the salmon bowl felt barebones. Just salmon, pickled ginger, wasabi, and rice. Unless you want to drown it in soy sauce or do a DIY salmon nigiri, I’d recommend adding some veggies or a sauce to give it more balance.

Crowds were heavy during peak lunch hour. Every seat inside and outside was taken. If you’re planning to pick up, I’d recommend placing the order online at least 15 minutes ahead.

When near the visitor center at Harvard, there were many food court like restaurants. We actually had searched for sushi, and it brought us here, so we didn’t know about all of the options for food in the Harvard commons. The food was very delicious and you order on a little kiosk, and then they prepare the food for you right away. Delicious rolls and bowls.

I can’t believe it nearly took me a year to try this place. Absolutely delicious and fresh! Especially the Philly Salmon

Great food! I’ve gotten my lunch from here many times since my office is across the street. Reward points are available as well.

I’ve only been interested in the Philly Salmon bowl and have ordered it many times. It has been good with some minor personal changes. Sometimes the tempura can be not as crunchy and the service can take 15+ minutes when ordering at 11.

Update: There were multiple issues with the order today. The rice was chewy, the tempura was not fresh and I was given cream cheese when I requested it removed in my order every time. I believe the quality is going down and the amount of food can vary between visits.

Has a very limited selection. I did not realize it was in a student center/food court. The rolls we got were pretty good though.

The food was prepared extremely well, had all of my silverware and complete order, was high quality and tasted great, held up as leftovers, and has super cheap. This will become a regular spot for me!
