Nothing was explained, no sign clearly posted, just an extra fee quietly added at the window like customers won’t notice. It feels sneaky and insulting, especially when you’re already paying sit down restaurant prices for average food at best.
If you’re struggling with costs, be honest and raise menu prices instead of tacking on junk fees at checkout. This kind of nickel-and-diming is exactly how you lose loyal customers.
Arrived as a result of a Google search for nearby Mexican food. Overall l wish I had gone somewhere else.
The building appears to be well maintained and free of any noticable obvious defects.
I was immediately and warmly greeted upon entry. The lady who took my order was an absolute gem, providing outstanding customer service at a level seldom seem in the post pandemic world. Being a first time visitor she helped me stumble through the menu with ease.
My order was taken promptly without incident. The dining area clearly needed attention and suffered from indifference and neglect. Even though the place was empty, it would appear that the tables were bussed but obviously not wiped down with food residue present on most of not all of tables and chairs. I was forced to use napkins to clean my table prior to sitting down as dried food on the tabletop was everywhere.
While l paid cash for my order and wasn’t affected by it, there is a sign at the counter clearly indicating a 3% fee will be added for any card transactions.
The lag time from ordering to being served was almost instantaneous. My food arrived hot and fresh. I had hit the complimentary chip and salsa bar and grabbed chips, salsa and pickled hot carrots. Only the carrots had any real flavor, they were Rather hot but enjoyable.
I was immediately impressed with the meal portion sizes. Unfortunately I found the food muted in the flavor department, even after dumping sauce on it I found it bland and unimpressive. The shredded meat in my tacos was made up of abundant unflavored quality meat.
While good this place falls far short of being great as if not hitting on all cylinders.
Live and learn, I value my money more then l value Filiberto’s food, as a result this is not an establishment that I’ll be returning to.
Filiberto’s does offer a military discount which is always appreciated.
This last time I went I was given the wrong order so when I went to let them know, the cashier argued with me and repeatedly told me I was wrong, like I didn’t know what I always order. It was really uncomfortable
I now realize Taco Bell was still open and should’ve went there instead.
I ordered the super nachos and the meat that was on top of the nachos was COLD.
Not only was it cold but also chewy and inedible.
The price of these nachos keep going up and for 20 dollars you’re seriously wasting your money.
This place doesn’t belong in business serving cold food at ridiculous prices.
