I’ve enjoyed the food at the Ina Rd Fillibertos for a long time. A little more expensive than some fast food Mexican, but always worth it due to the quality and quantity. Unfortunately the chicken taco salad I ordered tonight was a far cry from the past. Minimal chicken and beans, mostly sour cream and guacamole. And it was small. I’m hoping this was a one-off. Hoping they haven’t reduced quantity and quality to keep prices low. Even at $13 I wouldn’t buy this salad again.

I’ve officially had it with this place. Charging a “handling fee” for food ordered in the drive-thru is absolute nonsense. Handling the food is literally your job, that’s what the prices are supposed to cover.
Nothing was explained, no sign clearly posted, just an extra fee quietly added at the window like customers won’t notice. It feels sneaky and insulting, especially when you’re already paying sit down restaurant prices for average food at best.
If you’re struggling with costs, be honest and raise menu prices instead of tacking on junk fees at checkout. This kind of nickel-and-diming is exactly how you lose loyal customers.

UNIMPRESSIVE & DISAPPOINTING

Arrived as a result of a Google search for nearby Mexican food. Overall l wish I had gone somewhere else.
The building appears to be well maintained and free of any noticable obvious defects.
I was immediately and warmly greeted upon entry. The lady who took my order was an absolute gem, providing outstanding customer service at a level seldom seem in the post pandemic world. Being a first time visitor she helped me stumble through the menu with ease.
My order was taken promptly without incident. The dining area clearly needed attention and suffered from indifference and neglect. Even though the place was empty, it would appear that the tables were bussed but obviously not wiped down with food residue present on most of not all of tables and chairs. I was forced to use napkins to clean my table prior to sitting down as dried food on the tabletop was everywhere.
While l paid cash for my order and wasn’t affected by it, there is a sign at the counter clearly indicating a 3% fee will be added for any card transactions.
The lag time from ordering to being served was almost instantaneous. My food arrived hot and fresh. I had hit the complimentary chip and salsa bar and grabbed chips, salsa and pickled hot carrots. Only the carrots had any real flavor, they were Rather hot but enjoyable.
I was immediately impressed with the meal portion sizes. Unfortunately I found the food muted in the flavor department, even after dumping sauce on it I found it bland and unimpressive. The shredded meat in my tacos was made up of abundant unflavored quality meat.
While good this place falls far short of being great as if not hitting on all cylinders.
Live and learn, I value my money more then l value Filiberto’s food, as a result this is not an establishment that I’ll be returning to.

Filiberto’s does offer a military discount which is always appreciated.

Burritos here are half the size as other locations and a third of the size of their competitors for more money. Why can I go to the Cortaro location and pay the same price for a bigger burritos (the same order mind you)? Such a rip off.

The food is decent, good prices, and the portions are large. My issue was with the actual restaurant; the windows and the tables had not been cleaned, even though there was no one inside. There was a dead fly by the window and they had fly tape in the kitchen, so it was just obvious that the place was not very hygienic.
This last time I went I was given the wrong order so when I went to let them know, the cashier argued with me and repeatedly told me I was wrong, like I didn’t know what I always order. It was really uncomfortable

This is some of the best fast Mexican in town! The salsa bar is delicious, with a great restaurant style tomato salsa not the taco salsa you get at other places that’s thin not very flavorful. My wife are regulars and always get a great meal with fast friendly service.

I came here at 12:30 am, I was hungry and couldn’t think of another place that was open.
I now realize Taco Bell was still open and should’ve went there instead.
I ordered the super nachos and the meat that was on top of the nachos was COLD.
Not only was it cold but also chewy and inedible.
The price of these nachos keep going up and for 20 dollars you’re seriously wasting your money.
This place doesn’t belong in business serving cold food at ridiculous prices.
One star

Ordered cowboy fries and the chicken was old, over cooked. It was so chewy and tasted funky. I had to pick out all the meat and even then, I was unable to eat the rest. Super disappointed. I’ve ordered this before so shame on the employees working for serving that chicken. It was so dark it looked more like carne asada.

Super quick to get our food in the drive thru. Would be nice if they updated the intercom someday. Haha. Food is good too.
