I ordered lunch from this location today, as I have done so numerous times before since I work downtown. Today will DEFINITELY be the last day I ever order from Potbelly! There was a STAPLE IN MY CHILI!!! Not only was it poorly packaged and some had spilled out in the bottom of my bag at some point during delivery, I opened the top to find a freaking staple just floating around. I don’t even want to think about what would’ve happened if I had taken a bite and swallowed the staple without seeing it first. Picture attached. I will be complaining all the way to corporate.

The staff are the stars here, always great. Unfortunately, the building ownership is now requiring non-tenants to sign in to come into this location, which isn’t a requirement at any other sandwich shop downtown that I’m aware of.

Worth the extra effort to get there! The staff are nice and attentive. We took new employees here for lunch and to show them the underground tunnels in Downtown Dallas. The line moved fast. Chicken salad always is my go to here. They have great cookies and if you sign up for the app they are buy 2 get one free! The music was also great at this location and the dining area was clean even though it was busy. It is underground in the basement of the Renaissance Tower. Try the Chicken Pot Pie soup and The Wreck Sandwich!

I’m a student at a college in downtown so I come here for lunches they are always so nice and get my food to me so quick! The ladies at the front are always so nice! It’s hard to find good customer service in todays world and they go above and beyond. They do great for being super busy too. Not to mention the food is always up to standard!

The tuna was tasteless, very bland. The customer service was good. The music was good. As a previous waitress, I did notice that there was a staff person carrying a huge heavy basket trying to restock the chip area. Then, She was having to bend over to restock the chips. The way she was bending, eventually she will have back problems. She probably won’t think about how she was hurting her back by carrying that basket and bending wrong at Potbelly. I suggest that the company purchase one of those roller carts to prevent any back injuries and to show your concern for your employees health now and in the future.

DO NOT use this place for delivery. I really wish the website would stop directing us to order from this location. We have tried twice and both times our orders have been an hour late. The first time the driver didn’t call me when he was lost and drove the food back to the establishment. We only found out because we called to check on the order and when it finally came my boss’s sandwich was missing. So when my boss wanted Potbelly’s we started picking it up ourselves from a different location. Today my boss wanted us to order Potbellys again and I didn’t have my car so we tried one more time. It was already 30 min late and when I called they said they didn’t even have our order. Food is just like all the other Potbelly’s but they really need to figure something out or stop offering delivery. We order food all the time and this is the only restaurant we have had issues with.
