I just had the best Italian food I’ve ever had in a really long time. We arrived around 4PM and there were plenty of seats. It does fill up after that. There are no reservations there so plan it right. If you do (or not) you are still in for a treat.
I got the Sangria and Bolognese.
I’m so happy they are located in Londonderry – in the Mecca of restaurants and this has become the crown jewel of that plaza.
They are aware of the issue, but sit towards the back of the restaurant or you will feel the cold breeze every time that door opens.
Great job guys – Perfezione!

Stopped in on Tuesday night. Waited a few minutes at the door but the hist/hostess didn’t appear. It was busy so we sat at the bar. The tables are close. It was a bit loud due to the small space but not deafening . Lights kept flickering which was driving us crazy. Definitely needs to be checked for electrical issues, drawing too much power somewhere.

Bar tender promptly greeted us and brought our drinks. He was polite & courteous. Drinks were typical. Beer and Sangria.

We were offered bread, which was good with the oil. Arancini had good flavor but could have been a little crispier. Chicken parm good taste and portions are just right. We didn’t have leftovers. Chicken broccoli ziti was okay. Light flavor. I thought it needed a little cheese or spice but my husband really liked it as is. I will be willing to return to try another dish . Worth a return visit.

This cozy spot has only about 11 tables and an 11–seat bar, so it feels intimate without being crowded. There’s no booth seating, but the layout still works well.

The service was excellent—friendly and attentive without being overbearing. They start you off with very good bread and oil, which set the tone nicely.

The only disappointments were that they were out of the Italian wedding soup that evening and the arancini are advertised as bolognese but we found no meat. Aside from that, everything we ordered was top notch. The chicken parm was excellent—crispy, tender, and flavorful—and the seafood pasta dish was equally impressive, fresh and well-balanced. The sauce was rich and flavorful without being overly sweet, which I appreciated. The pasta was perfectly cooked ( all my Italians will appreciate this ) no mashed potatoes here

Pricing was affordable and portions were plentiful

Lots of parking.

Overall, a great place for quality Italian food with standout service.

My wife and I went to Giabella’s in Londonderry for only our second night out since our baby was born and the experience was terrible. I had been very excited to try this place and was hoping to become a regular based on everything I had heard and all the great reviews, but this visit completely ruined that idea.

I ordered an old fashioned and it came with soda water which is not traditional. The waitress was condescending and insisted it was standard. I get this drink everywhere and have never once had it served with soda water. Even their own menu does not list soda water for the old fashioned while the Aperol Spritz right above it specifically says topped with soda water. Her attitude immediately made the night uncomfortable and we actually considered leaving right then, but chose to stay and try to move on. That was a mistake. I sent the drink back and ordered a wine instead.

We ordered the Italian wedding soup and a Caesar salad. The soup was fine. The salad was fine except the croutons were completely stale. My wife got the lobster ravioli and she enjoyed it. I ordered the spaghetti carbonara. The food came out hot which I appreciated. However as I was eating I bit into something extremely chewy. It was a rubber band. At that point I stopped eating and asked for the check. After I paid I informed the waitress that I found a rubber band in my food. To her credit she stopped me and had the owner void the bill which I do appreciate.

That said I will not be returning. We rarely get the chance to go out since having our baby and this night was completely ruined. Even though the owner was nice about voiding the check I cannot take the chance of wasting another date night here. The only reason I am giving two stars is because then owner was nice enough to void my check.

Food was excellent. Ordered the special Chicken Milanese. It was supposed to come with Cheese Risotto, but received angel hair pasta instead. Still good, but wasn’t correct and still charged same rate. Service was very good, but wasn’t asked if wanted refill on our drinks. Atmosphere was pleasant, loud, but not too loud. Overall, would go back again. Btw, there homemade bread is AMAZING!

Tried this place out for the first time on new years eve. It was packed as expected but we waited for a table. We ended up taking a seat at the bar. It took a long long time to get served but there was only one bartender on that night which was interesting considering how busy it was. It was no fault of her own she was doing everything she could to keep up. The food was delicious and the prices were fair. We got the eggplant parm and the chicken marsala and it was very good. Overall this place is a little hidden gem best suited for smaller groups 2-4 people as its very compact in there. We will be back!

A big shout out to Robin The owner of Giabella”s for making our first visit so memorable. Besides the food, being phenomenal, and the waitress, extremely attentive, Robin sat with us afterwards for over an hour just to chat!! . Small quaint atmosphere a definite plus for Londonderry ❤️

Food was okay but not great. Ordered the arancini and eggplant rollotini and we’d pass on ordering them again. Wife got the chicken parm with the linguine. Chicken parm was crispy, but she enjoyed the pasta more. I ordered the shrimp risotto and it was just okay, definitely have had better. Portions were a bit small for the price, but it is what it is. Service was great. Our waitstaff was attentive and super friendly. The environment while small was was inviting. Tables were small and their was only one bathroom, which isn’t ideal when busy.

After reading all the awesome reviews we decided to try it tonight. Loved the atmosphere. The bread and dipping oil was great . We both had the chicken parm . It was excellent. Little crispy and cooked perfectly. Sauce was great and pasta was cooked al dente. We met the owner Robin. She is very nice and took the time to talk to us . Highly recommend and we will definitely be going back very soon !
