I don’t usually write reviews, but today I felt the need to share my experience here:

!!UPDATE!!
Me and my mother brought home chicken to-go and as we were eating it, we noticed it was raw in the center. I have added another picture to this edited review.

My mother and I attempted to go to this spot a while ago, but it was so crowded that we decided to try it another day. That day was today, and I truly don’t believe it was worth the hype it was getting. We got the vegetarian fried rice, szechuan chicken, and the assorted house special pan fried buns. It was very underwhelming, everything pretty much tasted the same and this plate was $4 more than the others bun plates. The only one that was really different was the curry bun, which was very vinegary and had a light curry flavor to it. The chicken was just okay to me, it wasn’t spicy at all and gave my lips a slight numbing sensation for a bit but that’s all. The vegetarian fried rice we got was good, a little salty but balanced by the sweet corn. The atmosphere was pretty dull, no music or anything happening. I wouldn’t go here again. If you’re looking for similar food, similar prices, and higher quality, keep going down Tustin to Super Dumpling at The Village.

The chicken from the Szechuan Style Chicken in Chili Sauce (appetizer) was not cooked through. The center pieces were undercooked. This is a safety violation.

My daughter and I went here with high hopes and left feeling very underwhelmed and quite disappointed. We ordered the mixed pan fried buns to try the different flavors. The curry flavor came out tasting very sour and extremely vinegary. I couldn’t even taste the curry flavor. The pork bun and shrimp & pork bun both tasted similar and so salty. We also ordered the vegetable fried rice, which was probably the only dish we enjoyed.
As for the chicken that was not cooked through, we didn’t even see it until we got home and attempted to have it for dinner. I think the pieces that I had while we were at the restaurant caused my stomach issues that evening.
Overall, the experience was underwhelming. The raw chicken really ruined it for us. I would not recommend this place…

This place has really good food. Not knocking on the food at all. We had the soup dumplings and they were really good. My issue is with the “service”. It isnt really service. You order on a qr code menu at the table and they bring it to you. I think the waitress came by once to fill up our water. We really wanted to ask about what was recommended and they just redirected us to the qr code. Felt impersonal and 2020 service like.

Food was good overall. The only disappointment was they were out of most buns, so we didn’t get the full experience

You order through the app and the food comes out quickly. You can pay and split the bill amongst those on the table through the app. The food was delicious! Everything we ordered was delightful and the service was spectacular! Welcoming and attentive. Can’t go wrong with this place.

The Chinese hamburger is the perfect blend of crunchy and juicy. The panda bun is adorable and has just the right amount of sweetness, making it feel quite healthy. The rainbow dumplings were the highlight for us, and they didn’t disappoint—they’re both healthy and delicious. The beef noodle soup is incredibly authentic and flavorful, just like you’d find in China. Plus, you can see the chefs making everything by hand through the window, which is a great touch—definitely not your typical frozen food. Highly recommend this place.

I am happy to discover a hidden gem in Anaheim. This local mom and pop shop has fresh and flavorful dumplings, Shengjian baos (fried juicy soup dumplings), Xiao Long Baos (juicy soup dumplings) and Xian Bing (scallion meat pie). Excellent and attentive service is a big plus too! I hope their business will take off soon and more people will come here to try their delicious food!

I wanted to try my favorite dish, dumplings in red oil. The dumplings were fresh and tender. The sauce was a bit salty, and I added more chili to make it hotter. Very authentic flavor and atmosphere.
You order and pay by QR code scan, and they bring it to your table. They bring water right away.

Ok I don’t want to cast judgement on this place based one bad dish, but there’s definitely room for improvement. I gave it a three star cause we were served raw wontons… This could easily be remedied with a kitchen timer rather than the “if it floats it’s cooked” method. I mean the wontons came out really fast so we were surprised how fast it came out after ordering. The outside was semi-translucent so I thought it was ok, but when I ate the first one and found it wasn’t hot and the texture wasn’t right I knew something was off so I had to inspect the second one and told my gf if she had the same mouth feel eating the wonton and she concurred. I mean I lived to tell the tale after a raw wonton so just know what you’re eating. The wait staff was kind enough to remake the dish which I would say was about 90% cooked with the meat texture closer to solid, but it was close enough.

So after that first encounter we were cautious of the rest of the dumplings we ordered and they were cooked and quite delicious! gf really liked the pork and corn dumplings and the fried bun style dumplings were on par with another place we’ve been to so that’s good. The wait staff did give us a complimentary rain drop cake which was nice of them. But please if you read this, timer method is better than float method when it comes to cooking from frozen wontons!
