The service is equally outstanding — friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. If you’re in Torrance or anywhere in the South Bay, this is the spot. Highly recommend! VVV
Tell tale sign of success– always busy with banquets and solid take out orders business.
The lunch buffet is a very good deal. Always plenty of vegetarian selections, plus tandoori chicken , lamb curry etc. Come check out the buffet, you’ll be back for dinner with the loved ones soon!
thin elderly man who appeared to be the manager/owner, that was seating guest and waiting on tables, if he could get more of the eggplant dish. He said the buffet was over at 3PM and that they would not be adding any more dishes to the buffet, and that I should hurry up before they remove all the food. Had I known I was paying $23.95 plus tax, I would have walked out immediately. My total bill $26.40 and I did not leave a tip for said reasons. Furthermore, the place is seemingly being ran out of an old dilapidated rundown motel banquet hall, and the service was less than pleasant.
1st of all, customer service was excellent. They took really good care of us. Our server was good too.
Tandoori chicken: could be better. The taste wasn’t authentic but it’s good. I’ll give it 5/10.
Butter/Garlic Naan: we liked garlic naan more than butter naan. Both of them were good. I’ll give them 8.6/10
Butter chicken: didn’t give the authentic taste but it was good. The gravy was really good. We took the mild hot and we liked the taste. Though the portion didn’t match the price. 6.4/10
Goat biriyani: we loved the biriyani. The flavours were excellent. Every ingredient in that was well balanced. We took spicy and loved it. The meat was very tasty. Again the portion didn’t match the price. 9.2/10
We waited approximately 20 mins for the food. So will suggest to start with an appetisers before the main course.
I enjoy their basmati rice, goat curry, mint chaay, pickled veggies, and fresh food!! I always like getting my weekend drink freebie of the super creamy Mango Lassi!
Very quick service. They do their best to get you warm naan, cold water, and clean tables to get more food. Servers are quick to seat you and take care of your table. They are also very helpful especially when I needed anything.
Hope to see this place stays open as it has been for over 50 years!
