Olive Bakery was such a fun find. It’s kind of funny because now that all the Korean bakeries have gotten super popular, it feels like the Chinese ones are starting to pop up too. I went for the first time and tried a bunch of stuff because I couldn’t decide.

The Japanese cheesecake was really airy and light, not too sweet, and had a nice subtle flavor. Definitely a 9/10. The light cheesecake was way thicker and had a perfect rich cheesecake taste. 10/10 easily. The tiramisu was soft and creamy with a strong coffee flavor, super good, like an 8/10. The mango cup was fresh and creamy too, kind of refreshing, also an 8/10. the boba? 10/10.

It’s a great little spot with a lot of potential. I’d come back, maybe earlier in the day next time to catch more of the freshly baked stuff.

I’m in love with this place. Perfect portions, great variety, just enough sweetness.
Definitely less sugar than your typical American dessert, but it’s only place where I can eat two pieces of cake and not feel sick.

I got the Oreo, which I would normally ever get due to Oreos being super sweet and the Ube cake slice. Both were very light and airy and the icing was perfectly proportioned.

Very nice and clean atmosphere with delicious desserts. A wide variety of sweets including speciality cakes, mochi donuts, pastries, and even bubble tea are available. Our favorite items that we tried were the mochi donuts. The texture and flavor assured us that everything here is fresh and made with meticulous care. The staff were kind, patient, and took the time to answer our questions. We will be back!

Love this place! Mochi donuts & stuffed croissants are my favorite items here. Its hard to not get one of everything . It’s bright, fun, & clean. Staff is always extremely nice & helpful. For self-serve, grab a tray, paper tray liner, & tongs. The cases to the left are self-serve. The cases to the right require assistance. I’ve been there when parking is completely open & other times when it’s been tight. There is parking on the side and in front of the building.

While the pastries here are delicious, I thought they were overpriced. (I’ve never seen a barbecue pork bun sold for $3!) I also tried the mochi taro bun, which was very soft and tasty and reasonably priced in comparison with other bakeries that sell the same thing in Los Angeles. However, if you’ve never had a mochi doughnut, I highly recommend trying it because it is absolutely delicious! Menu options are limited, but I will be coming back for another mochi doughnut…

New bakery on olive! They have a variety of goodies for everyone’s tastes. Buns, cakes, pastries, and even mochi donuts! Me and a friend got the oreo and strawberry cake cups which were pretty good. The cream was airy and not too overwhelmingly sweet. The cake itself was also light and fluffy. We will be back to try more!

I’ve been going here several times since they opened. You can find the variety of bakeries, cakes, coffee and boba tea here. The first time I came quite late in the afternoon so some of the breads I wanted were sold out. Staff advised to come before noon for more bun selections. My favorite was the Hokkaido cheese bun, custard bun and the purple yam bun. Service was warm and friendly. The shop is spacious and clean. Highly recommended!!!

Came here with a couple of friends and tried multiple of the pastries. Everything with mango was really good. Didn’t care to much for the egg yolk tart or the seaseme bun because they had weird chewy textures, that could just be me but they also weren’t favorites for my friends that tried them. Reminded me alot of the chain bakery Tous Le Jour. Very clean self serve style bakery.
One thing that was annoying was they play the same song on repeat. Otherwise decent place to get decently priced desserts.

Wow. This place is amazing! Everything they offer here is delicious. The variety of flavors are incredible and I’ve been trying so many different items. It’s easy to get your own treats. It’s self serve and you check out at the register. I also love the lychee tea which is flavorful.

We usually get our birthday cakes from Asian bakeries because we love their style—light sponge cakes, soft, not overly sweet, and topped with fresh fruit. I’m really glad to have found this bakery since they offer exactly the type of cakes we’ve been looking for. Another big plus is their extended hours—open later in the evening, unlike many other bakeries that close early.
One area for improvement is customer service at the cashier. I had to wait a bit even though staff seemed available, and they didn’t rush to help right away. That said, once they did come over, they were polite and pleasant.
Overall, a great bakery with delicious cakes—I just hope they polish up their customer service to match the quality of their desserts.
