Visited for the first time on Saturday morning. I enjoyed the Lumberjack Breakfast. The portion was generous.
I noticed the staff (a young lady) seemed to be friendly only with regular diners. After serving my food, refilling my coffee once, and leaving the receipt, she didn’t check on me again.
I had hoped she would ask how everything was. I actually needed a box to take the leftovers home. She passed by my table many times, but she never paid attention to my table. After waiting for 20 minutes, I realized she would never come back to my table, and I had to go to the counter and ask another staff member for a box.
Not sure if it’s the restaurant’s policy for customers to request a box at the counter, but I wish she had been more attentive. I also hope that first-time visitors are treated just as kindly as regular customers.

Great place for breakfast food at a great value.
We’ve had just about everything here and it’s great.
I usually get the omelettes – it’s hard to go wrong there.
Prices are good – it’s hard to spend a lot here, and the coffee refills keep coming when you need that energy.
The servers have all been chill and very accomodating to weird needs of the kids and athletes in our groups.

My friend and I came here for the first time this morning when they opened. It was very quiet but got packed after 45’. Our waitress was kind and recommended the egg Benedict. The portion was generous for both of us. The egg Benedict was the best one I have ever had in a while. We really appreciate whoever made it! We absolutely will be back and refer to our family and friends! Thank you!

Once again another place has worsened overtime
I used to go every Sunday, but after 2020 they haven’t done as well as they used to; yet they are still amazing! Service is great, along with the restaurant itself l. Very clean, and mannered atmosphere that fits just perfectly! The food was still very good with the now limited menu! Great time, and a nice place to stop for some yummy food.

A great place to have breakfast, with one of the best in town! It is located in a strip mall and there are entrances on the north and south side of the complex with parking on either side. They have a very nice selection of food and it has always been great. They also have very friendly staff and are very kind. Check them out!

This was our first visit to the Downtowner. Our waitress was only on her second day. It’s seat yourself so we went right in and pick our seats. We were greeted almost instantly. Took our orders and brouht drinks immediately the food came quickly and was delicious. Big portions for the price definitely worth it. We got biscuits and gravy sausage, bacon, sausage, pancake, toast and eggs. Everything was superb! We will definitely be back to The Downtowner! Service, food and quality was excellent!

Waited 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged that we were there. Food come out incorrect and cold. No one come back to offer coffee refills or to see how out food was. The only reason it’s not a 1 star is because they comped our food.
