I ordered two smash burgers from the new Albany Sonic location, but both were incredibly salty. I took the burgers apart and noticed a type of red seasoning on them, which I’ve never seen on Sonic smash burgers before. I had to spit out the first bite because it was so overpowering. I’ve had nothing but issues with this location, so I won’t be returning.

Always slow to get orders out. Doesn’t matter if it’s lunch hour, 2-4 happy hour, or first thing in the morning when they open. Simple orders (a single drink) will take at least 15 minutes. Today, placed mobile order for a slushie and breakfast combo when they opened at 7 am, I’m still sitting here at 7:29, only customer here and still no food. I’ve already paid on the mobile app or I’d leave. Will never recommend.

I purchased small onion rings with my meal.This is $3.39, plus tax. I got hardly nothing and all except for 1 or 2 were broken up like in the picture. It reminds me of the half bags of potato that we spend too much for, but get so little!
If you are paying almost $4.00 for a small luxury, then shouldn’t you get your money ‘s worth? Look at the following pictures. Worst visit ever! CHECK YOUR BAGS BEFORE YOU LEAVE!

Placed an online order to be ready at 7:31am. Sat in in the stall for 15 minutes while people pull up, go inside, and come out (apparently friends or family). They get their order way before I do and when I get my ultimate meat breakfast burrito, it’s about as big as a tomale! Won’t be back and they need to just shut it down over overhaul the management in that store!
Update to “Owner” after the response:
I’ve seen the other reviews and apparently those didn’t have any defining momentum to correct it nor make it right. I’m good. I just threw the $4.99 burrito away because I wasn’t even hungry anymore and to be honest; the food looked atrocious. I waited long enough for a breakfast burrito and Route 44 sweet tea. Not wasting my time on a phone call or a website. The employee blatantly lied to me and said she was by herself. There were 3 other people I saw in the establishment that catered to friends or family pulling up and walking out with food while one employee was sitting at the tables outside hee hawing with the guy that walking in and got free food and left. I was almost late for work. Again, I’m good. The store is hanging on a wing and a prayer!

Normally sonic has pretty decent hamburgers but today I was not impressed at all, the buns were wet to the touch the mayo was dripping off the sides and when I picked it had a string of questionable liquid spanning from the foil that it was wrapped in connecting to the burger. Not to mention the smell wasn’t appetizing either, Needless to say I tossed it and went to Wendy’s where I should have went to begin with. The first picture is from Sonic the second is from Wendy’s so maybe they can take notes on how you present your food to customers.

Me and my three friends decided that we were going to eat sonic together and talk cause we haven’t seen each other in a while. We all 3 parked right beside each other. Since, we all are paying for our own food, We decided to order our orders each on the Sonic app. we did not know that you can only place one order on each stall. So we ended up placing our three orders on the three stalls that our cars were parked at. We all were sitting in the car in the middle. Ad our food was getting ready to come out, Laura was our car hop and she brought the food right to us. we tried to let her know that we had food on the other two stalls, but she walked off too quickly immediately after she handed us the food. She didn’t ask us if we needed anything else, and we were even gonna tip her. After that incident, it went downhill from there. She Next came out with my friends order which was designated to arrive at the stall next to us. as she approached the stall, we rolled down the window and Politely let her know that we were in the same car. She stood there in front of our vehicle menacingly with a mean expression on her face. she once again gave us our food and rudely turned away to go back inside. Lastly, she came out with my third friends food and walked over to the car on the right in which We had placed our Third mobile order. The cars are not that far apart from each other maybe 2 feet. she came out to our car in the middle and started yelling at us calling us rude, and that she’s not gonna be running around chasing us. This isn’t the first Instance I’ve had with this woman she’s always got a rude expression on her face. she needs to be dealt with or I will call corporate and have her removed.

I read the reviews and understand there may be issues there. But I have to say that my husband and I got breakfast burritos there today and they were totally awesome! I called to see who had cooked them as I wanted to say Kudos to Lovetta that cooked them. She was actually called to the phone as the employee had requested her to. Lovetta did a great job on Breakfast and she was very polite and professional on the phone as well! Thank you again Lovetta for the awesome burritos!!!

Placed what I thought was a quick order. Not to be. Since it was a egg burrito style, I guess they had to chase down the chickens. It was a good 40 to 45 minutes before I received my order. Sitting in a heating car, it wasn’t a good experience.

Five or six people working inside the building, but only one working the outside. Ordered using the app and it took an extra 10 minutes just for a sweet tea AFTER I GOT MY BURGER. This location is always slow no matter if you use the app or not
