Decent Hard/Soft Shell Tacos. The taco meat however wasn’t the greatest. Our server was upbeat so that kept it in the positive. Probably won’t go back though.

I visited recently and decided on the three chicken tacos, shown on my receipt as the “Tiki Tacos”. It was a weekday so I went at 1pm to beat the lunch rush hour but it was still pretty busy. The tacos took a while but they were quite tasty. There was a basket of several different sauces brought out as well which was pretty neat. The tacos were very good and my total cost for just the three tacos was $14.24, which comes out to about $4.74 a taco. I would probably go again if invited by a friend as I really had no complaints.

I feel bad writing a bad review when we had good service somewhere.
But the food was incredibly disappointing.
My partner and I are from the Midwest and while we are two regular foodies with a fairly diverse palate, its not uncommon for Midwesterners to joke about the bland food you would might easily find where we are from.
Maybe thats why this burrito joint was so shockingly disappointing.
We have spent the last two and a half weeks in Melbourne and this is by far the absolute most dissapointing meal we have eaten in the area.
We spent nearly $60 on 2 burritos and a side of chips and salsa.
The chips and salsa were almost $8 and they seemed like they were literally tostitos and jarred salsa.
When the waitress, who’s service was the only good part of this place, brought out a tray of different hot sauces, I was initially excited.
However once our food arrived, I understood why they needed to bring us 8-9 different types of hot sauce just so we could taste our meal.
My partner got a burrito smothered in the blandest chili Ive ever had, who’s flavors were even more muted with the copius amount of white right that filled the middle.
You had to pay extra for pickled jalapeños or avocado, which was a shame for a chili burrito this lacking in flavor and diversity.
We settled on the fact that my burrito was better, and ended up mostly sharing that as our meal. However the low quality Philly steak, shrimp, and 1/4″ layer of half melted cheese in the surf and turf burrito was far from better than what he had ordered.
I had to hold back a laugh when the waitress asked if we wanted a box for our leftovers.
Do yourself a huge favor and just go to Chiptole.
The last Id want is to recommend a generic chain restaurant over a local spot, but you will spend half the money and have much fresher, much more delicious that this spot.
The prices are outlandish for this kind of quality and I say that as someone who has worked in the restaurants for 17+ years in all levels of the industry.

Great spot, to fill you up with their huge burritos, many combinations, and my favorite, the plethora of hot sauces to top them all. The burritos and sauces to top, are pretty fresh and always tasty. BIB is clean, with friendly and attentive staff that are quick and always helpful. May 2023

LOVE this place!!! Even more than I love the food, I love Jess & Devon!!! They are the absolutely best & sweetest people on the face of this earth!! I don’t know how one restaurant got so lucky getting 2 gems like them!! The food is AMAZING but the combo of the food & the service makes it a weekly must for lunch or dinner!! I can say that if either of them ever leave, I will definitely follow. Highly recommend!!

Really great place, been here a few times and the best part is consistency when ordering food here..
Got these tacos last couples times.. its a nice touch putting the cheese under the meat and on top of the lettuce and they are really good!!

Me and my family decided to come here to eat lunch and as always they NEVER EVER disappointed us. The service superb, food was nice and we plan on continuing our visits here in the future. Kelly did an INCREDIBLE job by checking on us and making sure we were good the entire time we were there…..THANK YOU KELLY!!!

Nice little burrito and bar place. They sell tacos, quesadillas, and random other things too. A bit too pricey. For two people, it was nearly $30 and the cup sizes were small. $2.75 to “make it wet”. However, the burrito was very filling and delicious AND the nice employees came to fill our drinks without a word.
