Apparently they don’t have a bathroom you can use anymore. So if you are out in the road don’t stop here. Keep in mind if you are traveling with kids.

Been going to Hammy’s for years. Everyone is very friendly. I / We always feel welcome. They have a little of everything, as a typical general store. They have propane exchange, ice, a nice food menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

I used to love getting subs here, now they can’t get anything right. If I could give a lower rating, I would!! The last few times I have gotten food, everything has been burned, missing toppings, items ordered have been out of stock and they don’t tell you until you get there to pick up your food, have even been shorted items. You tell them about issues and they blow you off and don’t care. You would think that a small business like that, being where it is, would want to have happy customers, but my experience is that they don’t really care at all. My suggestion is to drive the extra distance to any other place other than Hammy’s!! UPDATE: After speaking with Hammy, he promised to address the issues I raised and agreed to replace my meal. Tonight I picked up the food and as he promised, everything was made correctly and tasted great. Thank you Hammy for keeping your word. Hopefully things continue as they were tonight.

Nice waitress, food was gross. We stopped here because of the reviews. Just wanted a good burger, which they are supposedly known for. Tasted like a generic Sam’s Club soy burger. Gross.

We were driving back to Cleveland, OH after a pick up in Ghent, KY, for work. We needed to stop in and use the restroom, which was spotless. The lovely lady at the bar said no problem and was very friendly. Definitely want to stop for lunch next time we’re out this way. Love the repurposed ol’ barn wood. Thank y’all.

Owner,Hammy, is extremely rude and condescending. Came in with my two girlfriends for cocktails, none of which was known how to make. I was told a new male bartender was hired, and he was an outstanding mixologist. Where did he go? Well my girlfriend who knew him told me that Hammy didn’t tell him he was fired, but he told him the bar was shutting down. Really? That bartender left his job for him and 2 weeks later Hammy meekly quit him and hired a woman, who is apparently not a bartender. Anyone want an awesome bartender, leave me a message and my girlfriend will get you in touch. He’s a 20 year Marine, fought in many ways. He has a special needs child, and Hammy screwed him. Boycott this place. Hammy is a horrible person.

I keep on getting expired drinks. In fact I’m guessing they never clean out their fridges or anything. It’s just freaking disgusting. The only place that’s convenient in my area if I need something and the drinks to me or the only problem, I knew there was something weird tasting to my drinks.
