Wow, this meal was epic. One of the best I’ve ever had. Every dish was spot on. The service was so friendly and professional. Lovely ambiance. Well worth the splurge. We started with the complimentary and excellent bread and butter, then shared the wildly creative bento box and fabulous salumi, which is cured in house. We then shared the wonderful dry aged wagyu steak and the lamb chops, which may have been the best I’ve ever had. Finished with a great Napoleon. We will be back!

1909 is the most spectacular dining experience you will ever have in your entire life. It was the most amazing birthday choice for fine dining. We loved the drinks, homemade bread, special wedge salad, lamb dinner, and lobster macaroni and cheese dinner. The chocolate at the end was the most delightful add on as well. Our waitress Karla was knowledgeable, attentive, professional, and extremely friendly. She was the number one best waitress we have ever had in all of our years of dining out at our favorite hotel of all time…and in our many years of dining…ANYWHERE for that matter. AT 1909, you will be made to feel incredibly special by the way they ensure every detail of your experience is top notch. 1909 TAKES THE CAKE! We were blown away by the taste of everything we bit our teeth into and the ambiance of this restaurant is also quite exquisite. The Otesaga does everything first class so it was truly no surprise that this dining experience blew us away with Karla in addition to the three world renown chefs including Fabio from Brazil. We can’t wait to return!!! MAKE THIS RESTAURANT A PART OF YOUR NEXT TRIP TO COOPERSTOWN. You will definitely be so glad you did. Very, very disappointing meal. The menu is limited. The only white fish they served was fried. Prices are comparable to an upper end steak house but not worth the money. They were accommodating for my husband who wanted to change a side dish from fries to a vegetable. Service was just okay but again have had better service at similarity price restaurants.

Ok not sure what happened this Easter with the buffet but the food was terrible every year we look forward to the family getting together there for the holiday. This year our food was cold and disgusting when you pay a high price for a dinner it should be at least eatable. We won’t be returning!!
