Geraldine’s Supper Club and Lounge is a tip of the hat & a throwback to the nostalgic steakhouses & jazzy clubs of the 1940s-1960s.

We had what may very well have been the most extraordinary dining experience in our 15+ years living in Indianapolis, thanks to the unmatched hospitality of Sean. He is, without question, the best server we have ever had. His attention to detail, warmth, and genuine care elevated an already phenomenal evening into something truly memorable.

From the moment we sat down, everything was flawless. We began with oysters and the French onion soup. Do not skip the soup—it is a masterpiece in a bowl. The Chateaubriand arrived perfectly prepared, accompanied by impossibly good fries and glazed carrots that were simply next level. And just when we thought it could not get any better, the chocolate cake arrived. Rich, decadent, and absolutely unforgettable.

Geraldine’s is a gem. But it was Sean who turned our night into something we will be talking about for years. We cannot wait to return, and we will be asking for Sean by name.

First time visitor for a birthday dinner. Loved the atmosphere, piano playing in the background, and our server was excellent offering suggestions and answering our questions.

The gorgonzola chips were so good I wanted to lick the plate. The French onion soup had a delightful flavor. Our table shared the porterhouse steak, which ended up being the perfect amount and had tons of flavor. Of our sides, mashed potatoes, carrots, and green beans, I could have legitimately eaten multiple plates of carrots and gone home a happy bunny. So delicious!

We also had a few cocktails and wine. It was a lovely evening top to bottom.

Great service – our waitress Cara was very sweet, professional and knowledgeable. The drinks were good as was the food. Live music even though we weren’t expecting to hear any. Definitely enjoyed our experience and would go back. Only reason we didn’t give five stars is because the oysters had a few shells… and weren’t as hot as they should’ve been… and the beef Wellington was overcooked. We also ordered au gratin because we weren’t told our beef came with mashed potatoes.

The evening started great and ended horribly. We had a reservation for a party of six and were taken upstairs to our table, which was placed directly in front of the pianist who had played for the night. I mean directly in front of her so much that we had to get up when she wanted to take a break from playing. We ordered drinks, which came out on time, and we also ordered appetizers, which a couple of individuals at the table got their’s and others waited for quite some time. While we continued to wait for our food we were brought out small servings of raspberry sherbet “a palate cleanser” to disguise the fact that it has been 1 hour and no one at our table had received there entree. Our meal finally comes out after 1 hour & 14 minutes only for several dishes to be lukewarm. One of the meals was not even warm enough to melt the cheese that was on it, we informed the manager of it and simply said we didn’t want the dish considering how long it took for us to get our food, but the manager suggested that she could take it back to the kitchen and have them warm it up! Not replace it, but warm up something that should have come out hot from the start. The photo shows a meal in which the chicken was piping hot but the crumbles underneath were barely lukewarm. Another party member ordered a medium steak which also came out under seasoned and lukewarm. This was our first and only visit for each of us. However, our server Philip was great.

Food was under seasoned for my taste with not salt or pepper available at the tables. Cook was great. Service was great. Only reason I gave the 2 star for atmosphere is I don’t like the seating design. You either sit with your back against a cold brick wall or sit with your back toward walkway. Trusting other patrons and staff won’t drop or spill something over you. The staff were talented in balancing through the walkway with trays.

Went to Geraldine’s for a date night with moderate-high expectations, which were far exceeded.

Kara was our waitress who did a phenomenal job, at times it felt like she was spying on us, because her timing was impeccable. She made wonderful recommendations, and ensured we enjoyed our experience.

The food was delicious, cooked and seasoned wonderfully. The cocktails were phenomenal, creative and delicious. We will absolutely be back again!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10 – A Stellar Experience at Geraldine’s Supper Club & Lounge

From the moment we walked into Geraldine’s Supper Club and Lounge, we knew we were in for a special evening. Misty, the general manager and host, welcomed us with genuine warmth and seated us at a high-top table tucked in the back—perfectly positioned with a stunning view of the entire restaurant. Her vibrant personality and consistent check-ins made us feel like VIPs all night long.

Savannah, our server (and talented bartender!), didn’t miss a beat—even while handling double duty. She delivered every course hot and full of flavor, offered spot-on menu recommendations, and mixed some of the best cocktails we’ve had in a long time. While the Smoked Old Fashioned was impressive, the showstopper was the Mint Julep crafted with Woodford Reserve—bold, refreshing, and beautifully balanced.

We started with the crispy calamari, which was elevated by fried pepperoncini and a bed of marinara that brought it all together. The bread service, paired with the herbed butter, was simple yet unforgettable—exactly what you want to warm up your palate.

For entrées, my wife rolled the dice on the Beef Wellington and declared it better than Hell’s Kitchen’s. (Yes, really!) I went for the 16 oz Delmonico, cooked to the chef’s medium recommendation with a rich blue cheese crust. Every bite was indulgent and satisfying. The creamed spinach on the side? Creamy, garlicky, and everything you want from a classic steakhouse side.

Geraldine’s isn’t just a meal—it’s an experience. From the ambiance to the service to the last bite, it’s clear that this place is something special. We’ll absolutely be back.

Geraldine’s Supper Club & Lounge provided an exceptional experience in every aspect. The atmosphere exuded charm with its rustic, dimly lit, and romantic ambiance. The addition of low-volume live music enhanced the overall experience. The service was outstanding, and the food was simply exquisite. The Beef Wellington, along with all the sides, was delightful. I’m already looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommend for a special evening out.

We had such a wonderful time yesterday! The food & drinks were delicious. The ambiance was lovely (though the piano upstairs was admittedly a touch loud). We had the pleasure of having Kara as our waitress who went out of her way to make our special night spectacular. There’s a reason we keep coming back!

Visited with a group of six on a Tuesday evening. The live music, though fantastic, still allowed for comfortable conversations even at a close distance to the stage. The food left us underwhelmed; the wagyu meatball appetizer was cold and tough, while the French onion soup and bread were delightful. Unfortunately, we waited nearly 30 minutes for our main entrees. The steaks were good, complemented by a potent but amazing garlic aioli. However, for a $100 per plate restaurant, the steaks didn’t meet the expected quality. Dessert took an additional twenty minutes and was just okay, with average bread pudding. Despite a great atmosphere, we found it overpriced for the overall experience. While trying it once is recommended, our return is uncertain.
