Enjoy!
Napoli’s has easily become our favorite restaurant in town, and I’m a pretty picky person! The quality, service, and overall experience never disappoint. It’s truly a hidden gem, and we can’t recommend it enough.
Service mirrored the quality of the food. The staff operated with polished attentiveness, striking that fine balance between professionalism and warmth. Timing was impeccable plates arrived at the right pace, water glasses never went empty, and there was a genuine sense of pride in what was being served.
The restaurant itself carries an understated charm inviting yet elevated creating a setting where comfort and refinement meet. For those seeking Italian cuisine that respects tradition while delivering excellence, this establishment sets the bar high. The chicken Alfredo alone is worth the visit, but combined with the caliber of service, it becomes a dining experience to remember.
I was part of a group that had reservations. They didn’t have several things listed on the menu. It took about an hour to get our food. One in our group accidentally dropped a glass, and for at least 15 mins there was zero staff on the floor to help us dispose of the shards. My pasta was very undercooked (validated by several in our group). I waited forever for our server to come back so I could tell her and she argued with me and told me it was supposed to be like that. She rolled her eyes at me and left. The pasta was so underdone, it was like chewing well done steak. I waited a long time for her to come back and said the meal was not correctly cooked. She asked if I wanted something else, and since everyone was almost done eating, I asked her to put it in a to go box. We ordered cheese cake which turned out to be one of the several things they no longer have that’s on the menu. After a very long wait we got our bills. As expected, the group gratuity was added, but surprisingly there was a service charge, a gratuity tax, and a to go charge. Are you kidding me? I spent $45 and they had the gall to charge me for putting a replacement meal in a box over their kitchen mistake. We asked for the manager. He was obviously completely put out that he had to take the time to address us. We asked why he is taxing us for our gratuity. He said it was to avoid paying it himself. Well, okay then. I objected to paying for a to go box when I couldn’t even eat the food they served me. He rolled his eyes. The culture at this business is NOT one of respect, nor hospitality. That’s evident by reading years of reviews that say similar things. Our input isn’t making real change. Therefore, I will never be back.
Waitress rolled her eyes and minimized the patron’s and table party’s opinions, insisting that’s just how the order is served. The dish truly was inedible.
The patron asked to return the dish and order something different to go, since others at the table were finishing their food by then.
Waitress again rolled her eyes but complied.
When tickets were distributed for payment, this patron noticed extra service and container fees on her bill for the replacement dish she wasn’t even able to eat.
Others in the party reviewed their tickets, and some noticed similar tracked-on fees.
Manager was requested regarding these extra fees plus a question about taxes charged for the extra 20% service (labor) gratuity.
More eye rolling, this time from the manager, who argued that he pays taxes for employees, so he passes that on to customers.
Eventually, slight adjustments were made to some of our tickets. By then, our entire party was annoyed and couldn’t wait to get out of there.
Pass on this place or plan to lose 2+ hrs on exceedingly slow service, food that may or may not be cooked thoroughly, plus the need to audit your bill carefully for tacked-on fees.
The eye rolling, smirks and attitude over a severely undercooked dish are not worth anyone’s time and hard-earned money.
Spare yourself and head down the road to Olive Garden. Always enjoyable, comparably priced — and no staff eye rolling or attitude!
