My wife and daughter picked us up some Mexican last night from Sr. Jalapeno. Ive actually never ate inside and this was my first time trying it. Food was supposed to be ready at 730. They showed up early and the food was cold when we got it. They were also missing my corn tortillas. Didnt give a rating on the service or atmosphere because we got it to-go. Besides the food being cold, the food was good. I got the choripollo and a tamale. Just didn’t like my chori Pollo on top of my rice and beans and the fact the chicken breast was one big giant piece that took up the entire container. Size was great but taking 5 minutes to cut that giant piece when you can easily dice it up or cut it up. My wife got 3 street tacos. Al pastor, steak and carne asada. She enjoyed the carne asada the most. My son got a chicken quesadilla and a steak quesadilla. One of the only places I’ve seen that don’t have actual quesadillas besides spinach and bacon on their menu. My daughter got some plate with like 4 different enchiladas with the sauce on the side. My wife loved the Chile poblano!

We have been coming here for years and are always happy with the service, food, and atmosphere. Our go to favorites are the fajita nachos, chimichangas, vegetarian quesadilla, chicken soup, and the mango habanero wings. A little sad they don’t have Sunday lunch specials anymore, but the prices are still great for the portions. Lucy was our waitress today and we have had many other great waiters and waitresses over the years. 100% recommend.

We go here often and have had such a great experience here! Our waitress, Esmeralda, is absolutely wonderful—so kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Honestly though, every staff member we interact with is amazing and makes us feel right at home.
And the chips and salsa? Truly the best we’ve had anywhere. Fresh, flavorful, and so good!

Do not door dash your food from here because I guarantee your order will not be correct. I am very disappointed and of course they say they can’t fix it because it was door dash. The enchiladas were supposed to have white cheese sauce on them but they don’t and they are super dry.
